Introduction

Welcome to our portfolio! We are thrilled to present this compilation of our

work, experiences, and accomplishments, providing a glimpse into our
professional journey and personal growth.
As students, we have had the privilege of engaging in diverse projects and
opportunities that have shaped our skills, perspectives, and aspirations. This
portfolio serves as a curated collection, offering insights into our capabilities,
achievements, and the principles that drive our approach to the subject of teaching
English in the elementary grades.
As a class, BEED 3A, we are a group of aspiring educators who are
passionate about shaping the minds of our future generation. Our collective goal is
to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students can
develop their language skills, explore literature, and cultivate a lifelong love for
English.
During the first semester, as individuals taking up this subject, Teaching
English in elementary grades, we were engrossed in different activities,
specifically reporting, that showed our capabilities to speak in front of the class. To
expand what this subject teaches the students, it includes many topics that were
assigned to us. The topics include Perspectives on First and Second Language
Acquisition, Various Factors that Influence Learning, and too many to mention.
The essence of studying English is that it enables us to comprehend how we can
enhance our communication skills and improve our vocabulary. It also teaches us
how to improve our social life, which is very important nowadays.
We are immensely grateful for the guidance and mentorship of our esteemed
instructor, Mr. Clark Christian S. Tirao, LPT, EdD. His expertise, enthusiasm, and
dedication have inspired us to become effective educators. Under his guidance, we
have gained valuable insights into the art of teaching English in the elementary
grades and have been encouraged to explore new approaches to engage our
students in the future.
This portfolio will help you explore how we learned English in a very
comprehensive and interactive way during this semester. We are beyond happy to
share these precious moments of growth and development.
