Backend Engineer - Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer that will build application, quality web pages and updates
for clients with quick turnaround time. Creating data presentation-layers in the form of static
reports and interactive dashboards. Being incredibly self-driven to learn, push new ideas, and
teach others.You will work as part of and collaborate closely with other team on meaningful
projects and gain invaluable experience as you work.

Location
• Engineering Department, Center of Apllied Data Science, FPT
• Dai Minh Convention Tower, 77 Hoang Van Thai, Tan Phu, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City,
Viet Nam.

Salary Expectation
• Fresher: 500$ - 800$+
• Junior: 800$ - 1500$+
• Senior: 1500$ - 3000$+
Beside monthly salary, we have quarterly KPI bonus (15%-135% monthly salary), 13rd month
salary.

The main responsibilities


• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side
logic.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Being incredibly self-driven to learn, push new ideas, and teach others

Requirements
• Strong Java or Nodejs
• Have knowledge about OOP, Design Pattern, Algorithm & Data Structure
• Have knowledge about Devops(k8s, docker…).
• Experience with SQL such as Postgres, MySql, Clickhouse…
For senior:
• Have multiple years of experience with state-of-the-art web architectures and enjoy
developing modern web applications.
• Good at using NoSQL such as Redis/Elasticsearch/MongoDB
• Have knowledge about microservice, Kafka, Message Queue, API Gateway...
• Have knowledge about devops(k8s, docker, CICD…)
• Experience with Restful API or GraphQL and web-based technologies: Java, Nodejs
• Experience with networking & Linux system.
• Participate in the analysis and design of system architecture.
• Have knowledge and experience about Bigdata System is plus.
