Launched in 1999, the Amtrak® Acela® made history as the first high-speed train service in North America, running between Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston at
speeds upwards of 150MPH. Now, just over 20 years later, the Acela® service continues to push the envelope for speed and modernity in the Northeast with the introduction
of a new generation of hi-tech trains from Alstom. Based on the latest in high-speed technology, the new Acela® will provide a substantial increase in both the speed and
capacity on this popular intercity route. The Bachmann Amtrak® Acela® II Train Set features two locomotives (one powered, one non-powered), ready-to-run with analog
control and speaker-equipped for upgrading to sound and DCC, a First Class passenger car, Cafe Car, and a Business Class passenger car. Also included is an 81” x 45” oval
of snap-fit nickel silver E-Z Track® with concrete ties, power pack and speed controller, and illustrated instructions.

Standing for “Branch Line Locomotive” the BL2 was EMD’s first foray into lighter-duty switching power, with production commencing in 1947. Designed for improved
visibility for the engineer during operation, the locomotive was one of the earliest diesels to feature a wide cab and a narrow long hood, allowing for a clearer view when
operating reverse movements. With styling cues taken from the streamliners of its time, the BL2 has remained popular with railfans throughout the years. Originally utilized
for both freight and passenger duties on secondary lines, examples can still be found in service today, handling excursions and short-line freight runs. The Bachmann BL2
arrives with DCC on Board, featuring new and existing tooling, authentic paint schemes, and directional LED headlights.
Features include:
• new and existing tooling • directional headlights with Rule 17 dimming
• highly detailed painted bodies with precision graphics • magnetically operated E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers
• dual-mode NMRA-compliant DCC decoder • blackened machined metal wheels with RP25 contours
The Siemens Venture series is the next generation of medium-distance passenger railcars for North America. Constructed by Siemens Mobility in California, the Venture
cars currently see use on Amtrak® state-supported services in the midwest and California, while VIA Rail Canada™ has introduced the series on corridor services in eastern
Canada. The Bachmann Venture Cars have been developed in collaboration with Siemens, using original design documentation to ensure prototypical accuracy. Features
include fully furnished, lighted interiors, authentic road-specific details, and E-Z Mate® knuckle couplers. Coach, Business, and VIA Rail Canada™ Cab Car configurations are
available in this release.
Features include:
• all-new tooling • dual mode DCC-operated horn, bell, and brake sounds, as well as
• highly detailed painted bodies with precision graphics headlight, ditch light, and marker light functionality on the cab car
• fully furnished and lighted interiors • magnetically operated E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers

In addition to carrying essential liquids such as water, oil, and gasoline, tank cars also provide a safe and efficient means of transportation for hauling industrial chemicals.
Due to the potentially volatile and sometimes corrosive nature of certain chemicals, these tank cars were designed to feature tougher construction and a specialized dome
to provide greater protection for both the contents of the cars and those handling them. The Bachmann Chemical Tank Car incorporates new and existing tooling to
replicate these cars in HO scale and includes detail differences per prototype, authentic road names, E-Z Mate® couplers, and blackened, machined metal wheels.
Features include:
• new and existing tooling
• highly detailed painted bodies with precision graphics
• small or large dome style per prototype
• magnetically operated E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers
• blackened machined metal wheels with RP25 contours

TRANSFER CABOOSE

The Transfer Caboose was developed in the late 20th century to provide more room for crew members to ride externally during switch movements. Often constructed
using existing components railroads had on hand, such as boxcar frames, Transfer Cabooses were utilitarian in design. Despite the caboose being largely displaced in most
settings today, Transfer Cabooses continue to play an important role on freight jobs that require long “reverse-direction” moves, where there is no opportunity for the
locomotive to reposition to lead the train at the end of the line. The Transfer Caboose provides a safe and roomy area for the conductor to stand and watch for hazards at
the front of the train while communicating with the engineer in the locomotive pushing from the opposite end. The Bachmann Transfer Caboose comes ready-to-run with
four authentic paint schemes reflecting both early and late operators, E-Z Mate® knuckle couplers, and blackened, machined metal wheels.
Features include:
• new and existing tooling • magnetically operated E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers
• highly detailed painted bodies with precision graphics • blackened machined metal wheels with RP25 contours

HOn30 NARROW GAUGE FLETCHER, JENNINGS & CO. 0-4-2ST TALYLLYN LOCOMOTIVE
SCALE Runs on N Scale track; equipped with international-style hook-and-loop couplers
Opened in 1866, the 2’3” gauge Talyllyn Railway was the first narrow gauge line in the UK to operate steam-powered locomotives from the start, with predecessors having
their origins in the horse-drawn wagon era. Construction of the 0-4-2ST “Talyllyn” locomotive preceded its namesake railway by two years, and the engine has spent its
entire working life on the line. Initially designed for hauling slate, and later revenue passenger service, the Talyllyn locomotive today hauls tourists along its 7.25-mile railway,
now recognized as one of the UK’s premier narrow gauge heritage lines. The Bachmann Talyllyn locomotive comes available in three prototypical paint variations, reflecting
the strikingly different schemes worn over the course of its life. Scaled to HO/OO dimensions, the Talyllyn will operate on standard N Scale or HOn30/OO9 narrow gauge
track, and features die-cast metal construction with operating metal drivers.
Features include:
• die-cast metal construction • international-style hook-and-loop couplers
• highly detailed painted body with precision graphics • blackened machined metal wheels with metal drivers

operations ensures that they remain an essential locomotive for most major freight railroads to this day. The Bachmann SD40-2 returns to our N scale line with all-new
tooling, DCC Econami™ Sound Value On Board, and a range of authentic paint schemes for the modern era.
Features include:
• DCC sound-equipped with Econami™ Sound Value package • flywheel
