Complete a truly comprehensive traffic study of Madison Village including railroad crossings through the use of local, state and federal grants. Look at the possibility of an in-house tax collection a potential savings to residents. Find a solution to flooding and drainage problems within our community, Create and save more green space and create an environment of less government in peoples lives and continue to seek the real truth within our government. Additional comments: I am looking forward to the opportunity to represent my community again and still keep small town qualities with thoughtful growth with respect for the past, while working together with surrounding communities and also while still continuing to represent each citizen equally.
Political Accomplishments: Represented the wishes of my constituency. Responded to all correspondences and calls. Attended Most Council meetings (Sorry I missed one) Continue to fight for more open Government. Balanced Budget and carry over of 1 Million Dollars in 2011 Storm Water Management kept in house at no cost to residents. Voted to secure C.D.B.G. monies to expand Senior Center at no cost to residents. Helped to expand I-90 interchange through Lakeland Community Collage development. Encouraged business development in the down town district including Corner Stone Brewing Co to the present 85% occupancy in the down town district. The developed Mentor R-V on Sidley Drive at I-90. The Opening of Child Care facility at I-90 in 2011 Represented Madison Village comprehensive plan [first one since 1964]. Represented Madison Village RT. 20 Corridor Comprehensive Plan Voted to keep Auxiliary Police intact [a cost savings to residents]. Helped to implement job description for Madison Village Department heads and employees. Introduced Legislation for Noxious weed Ordinance (over grown grass on property) 2011 Introduced legislation for Computer use policy. Introduced legislation for Nepotism. Introduced legislation for1099 filing for the collection of uncollected income tax. Development and annexation of industrial property south of Rt.307. Helped to create a budget that allows Madison Village to live within its means. Voted to reinstate limb and branch pickup, curb side bagged leaf program and annual junk pick up day. Helped introduce storm water study by U.R.S. (Village Engineer) to analize and look for solutions to flooding problems in our community.
