When I Got My First Bicycle
When I got my first bicycle, I was in grade four. I got it on my birthday. I was very excited as I unwrapped
the gift. The bicycle was new, shiny and red in color with streamers (colorful ribbons) on the handlebars.
It had a basket and a small seat at the back. It had headlights and a bell that
made a loud ringing sound. I could not wait to ride it in my neighborhood
and showing it off to my friends with proud.
My parents were also very happy to see the look of joy on my face when I
opened the gift. I spent the whole day riding on the street. My all friends
were so excited and they all wanted to ride it too. I felt very special, having
my own bicycle.
I remember that in excitement I could not sleep that night, thinking about the adventure that I would
have made with it. It was definitely the best birthday present I had ever received. That moment and day
always hold a special place in my heart.

How I Spent My Summer Vacations
When my summer holidays began, I felt so happy! The sun was shining bright, making everything warm. I
wore my comfy shorts and colorful shirts every single day.
With my family, I did lots of fun things! We visited the beach and made amazing sandcastles. I collected
shiny shells and splashed in the waves with my brothers and sisters.
One fantastic day, we had a picnic in a huge park. We played tag and flew colorful kites high up in the
blue sky. I ate yummy sandwiches with cheese and drank cold, sweet lemonade.
Guess what? I learned to ride my bicycle all by myself! My dad helped me balance, and then I pedaled
without any help. It felt super cool to ride around the neighborhood.
At night, we had barbecues in our backyard. The air smelled so good with all the tasty food cooking. We
sat together, talked about our adventures, told funny stories, and looked at the twinkling stars.
My summer holidays were the most awesome! I made lots of fun memories with my family. I am already
excited for the next summer break!
