Global Warming Essay Outline
Crafting an essay on the topic of global warming and creating a comprehensive outline can be quite
challenging due to the complexity and urgency of the issue. Global warming encompasses a broad
range of scientific, environmental, social, and economic aspects, making it essential to delve into
various dimensions while maintaining clarity and coherence in the essay.
One of the initial challenges lies in researching and understanding the intricate causes and
consequences of global warming. This involves delving into scientific studies, climate data, and
understanding the interconnected nature of climate change. It requires a nuanced approach to balance
scientific accuracy with accessibility for a diverse audience.
Additionally, structuring the essay can be demanding as it necessitates a logical flow of ideas and
arguments. Developing a well-organized outline becomes crucial to present a coherent narrative.
Balancing the introduction, body, and conclusion while addressing key points such as the
greenhouse effect, human activities, impacts on ecosystems, and potential solutions requires careful
consideration.
Moreover, addressing opposing viewpoints and potential counterarguments adds another layer of
complexity. Acknowledging the skepticism surrounding climate change and incorporating rebuttals
in a fair and persuasive manner requires a delicate balance to maintain the credibility of the essay.
Furthermore, keeping the essay up-to-date with the latest research findings and developments in the
field poses an ongoing challenge. Global warming is a dynamic issue with continuous advancements
in scientific understanding and policy responses. Staying informed and incorporating recent
information adds depth and relevance to the essay but also demands constant updates.

yourself you resent your family for not being supportive enough.

How to Die in Oregon
Portland, USA, 107 Min., 3/13/12 9PM (Watched online) How to Die in Oregon is an
emotionally charged, and intimate exploration of the controversial Death with Dignity
Law passed in the state of Oregon in 1994. How to Die in Oregon received the Grand
Jury Prize in the U. S. Documentary Competition at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival,
along with other countless accolades, and is currently available as an HBO Original

Richardson produced, directed and captured all the footage himself. The end result is a
multitude of powerful one on one interviews, archival footage of patients, and candid
long takes. Richardson cuts himself out of the interviews, and edits together strikingly
frank sound bytes to showcase his subjects talking about death and the affect of the law.
His use of archival footage primarily captures his patients when they were healthy, and
provides a striking contrast as they seriously discuss death towards the end of their
lives. His use of candid long takes captures some of the most poignant moments of the
film, including the final minutes of one man s life after taking the lethal drugs. The
camera is a spectator in the room, as the man accompanied by his family; all face his
personal decision to die together. All of these different footage types work together to
provide emotional weight to an already troubling subject.
2)Richardson s non interventionist style is a prime example of observational
documentary, and works specifically well in capturing and promulgating the subject of
death. According to Nichols, observational documentaries started appearing in the 1960 s
as result of more mobile and smaller equipment. Furthermore, observational documentary
stresses non intervention, as filmmakers objectively observe indirect speech, candidness
in the form of long takes, and create a world out of historical reality not fabricated with
Predicament of Climbers Simpson and Yates in Touching the...
Many members of the climbing community believe that Yates should not have cut the
rope and that he should have held on for longer to give Simpson every chance to work
out a solution to his predicament. However, I believe there is evidence that suggests
Yates was justified by cutting the rope. This evidence is such as the fact that if Simpson
had been left hangingany longer he would have died anyway, there was no line of
contact between Yates and Simpson, and if Yates had of waited any longer he would
have died as well.
If Simpson had been hanging any longer, he would have died anyway. In the film
Touching the Void (2003) Simpson tells us I was just there, and this went on for
maybe an hour and a half this suggests that Yates did give Simpson time to get out of
his situation. An hour is a long time sit in melting snow. If Yates had of waited any
longer Simpson would have died from the lack of fluids or hypothermia. In the film
Simpson states there was nothing I could do, so I just hung on the rope and waited to
die therefore he had enough time to try everything he could to get out of his
predicament, he was waiting to die because there was not anything else he could do. In
actual fact if Yates had not cut the rope Simpson would have died there, so in a way
Yates saved Simpson s life. In the end if Yates had not cut the rope Simpson would have
died hanging off that cliff, and Yates would have died waiting for Simpson s signal.
