Essays On Drug Abuse
Crafting an essay on the subject of drug abuse presents a multifaceted challenge that goes beyond the
mere act of writing. The complexity arises from the intricate nature of the topic itself, delving into
the realms of sociology, psychology, health sciences, and even legal frameworks. The difficulty lies
not only in articulating thoughts coherently but also in navigating through the vast and often
conflicting information surrounding drug abuse.
Firstly, the sheer volume of data available demands meticulous research to sift through reliable
sources, ensuring the incorporation of accurate and up-to-date information. This process is time-
consuming and requires a discerning eye to distinguish between credible studies and biased
viewpoints.
Secondly, addressing the sensitive and sometimes controversial aspects of drug abuse necessitates a
delicate balance. Striking a chord between empathy for those affected and the objective analysis of
the issue requires careful consideration of language and tone. The writer must be aware of potential
stigmas attached to the subject and work towards fostering understanding rather than perpetuating
stereotypes.
Moreover, formulating a thesis statement that encapsulates the core message of the essay while
encompassing the multifaceted nature of drug abuse poses a significant challenge. The essay must
provide a comprehensive overview, touching on the causes, effects, and potential solutions without
oversimplifying the issue.
Structuring the essay logically becomes another hurdle, as the interconnectedness of various aspects
of drug abuse demands a well-organized and coherent flow. Each section must seamlessly transition
into the next, providing the reader with a holistic understanding of the topic.
Lastly, concluding the essay with impactful insights or recommendations adds a layer of complexity.
The writer must not only summarize the key points but also leave a lasting impression that prompts
reflection and consideration.
In essence, tackling the subject of drug abuse in an essay requires not just writing prowess but also a
deep understanding of the complexities involved. It is a task that demands diligence in research,
sensitivity in expression, and adeptness in weaving together diverse strands of information. For those

Case Study on the Computer Hack at Stellar University
My report will be discussing and analyzing the computer attack that happened at Stellar
University (SU). In the first part, I will give a brief about that school and outline its
servers. In the second part, I will discuss and analyze the issues that happened in IT
department and finally I will add solutions, recommendation and end my report with
conclusion and references.
Stellar University (SU) is an urban university that offers amazing majors such as
engineering, business, hypnotherapy and health. SU uses many tools such as Mainframe
AS 400, Unix, and Linux etc. Also, it has networking infrastructure such as wireless and
VPN (Virtual Private Network).
The issue is that SU did not have a qualified staff in IT who could operate and run the
system clearly. Moreover, they have low skills in training and low experience that
prevented them of being IT professionals which made them walking with no direction.
On the other hand, criterions of IT system were not clear due to the tight restriction and
updating password policy. These reasons created a shortage in protecting IT system.
The server was an IBM and the upgrade were made to that server in order to maximize
space and memory. Additionally, the IBM server warranty has been expired and it did
not get renewed. The school management at SU decided to relocate all servers to be at
the computer center. The SU was on a budget which made SU laying off some staff and
reducing preventive maintenance.

A. Plan of Investigation This investigation assess the significance of Oscar Gustaf
Adolf s (Gustaf V) in the Midsummer crisis of 1941. In order evaluate Gustaf s
significance, the investigation will look upon his role in each stage of the crisis and his
relevance to the actions taken in reference to other participants of this crisis. Gustaf s
role is investigated from the initial days of the event, from the private meeting between
him, the Swedish foreign minister and the prime minister to the final verdict: Where
Gustaf himself gave Germany permission to travel through Sweden s neutral land with
the infantry division Engelbrecht. Two sources that are used in the essay, the book
Gustaf V och andra världskriget, written by Eric Carlsson and Per Albin och Kriget book
by Alf W. Johansson are evaluated for their origins, purposes, values and limitations.

However, Gustaf s role might be limited due to the fact that the decision making was not
his call to make. Also, except from the meetings at the castle; Gustaf continued to be at
Tullgarn s while the government discussed the matter. It is more likely to understand that
his standpoint would have an importance, though its actual meaning remains uncertain as
different sources interpreted the message differently. Even the members of the cabinet
had divided opinions whether the King s message concerned abdication or not.
Furthermore, if Erik Carlsson s claim is true, that the government had a final decision
with formulated arguments before Gustaf made it official, indicates that Gustaf V s role
seems less
How Did Mali And Songhai Affect The West African Trade...
The rulers of Ghana controlled the trade of their kingdom and collected taxes on salt
from the north. From the south of the kingdom came gold that fed the king s wealth.
This gold came from the Senegal and Niger rivers and was in great demand across the
Sahara. Ghana was a sort of meeting place in which the north and the south traded. From
the north came ceramics, glass, oil lamps, and salt, from the south came kola nuts, palm
oil, copper, and gold. Ghana became a wealthy trading empire. Maliand Songhai were
also affected because they neighbored Ghana so they were in similar circumstances.
When they were at war and Mali took over the Ghana gold mines, they tried to establish
salt trades. Several kings later the Songhai took over the gold mines... Show more content

The Portuguese had no interest in the cowrie shells that the Kongo had previously traded
with the people around them. The Portuguese wanted gold, but the Kongo had no gold,
so they settled on trading slaves to the Portuguese in return for goods. The slaves were
treated by the Kongo like they were any other person in the world, while the Portuguese
treated them like they were monsters. The Portuguese started trading something quite
new: guns. The Portuguese guns could be used to protect the slaves from slave raiders,
but the only way to get this product was to trade slaves for it. Eventually, the Kongo king
agreed to trade his own enslaved people for the guns. After a while, the Kongo king
started supporting the slave trade because it increased his own wealth and power.
The Kongo didn t mistreat their slaves. They kept the slaves with their families and
made sure that they could eventually earn their freedom. The Portuguese on the other
hand, treated the slaves so bad that some of them died from being worked so hard.
Slaves died from poor conditions and treatment so often that the Portuguese would have
to obtain more slaves. In order to get their hands on the slaves, the merchants would do
almost anything, even purposely start a war between

Religious Conflicts in The Song of Roland
The French epic, The Song of Roland, relates the conflicts between Christians and
Muslims in 778 A.D. In it, Charlemagne and his men, weary in their seventh year of
battle against pagan forces in Spain, have captured every heathen stronghold but the
kingdom of Saragossa, held by the Muslim king Marsile. Terrified of the might of
Charlemagne s army, Marsile promises treasures, hostages and his conversion to
Christianity if the Frankswill go back to France. However, Marsile has no intention of
surrendering and wants only for Charlemagne to end his siege of the city and get out of
Spain. Charlemagne does not trust Marsile but nevertheless accepts the proposal despite
his nephew, Rolands, objections. Roland nominates his stepfather, Ganelon, as a
messenger to go back to Marsile s court. Ganelon initially protests but is forced to
accept the dangerous commission. He fears that he ll die in the hands of the
bloodthirsty pagans and publicly vows that, As long as I live, I shall have no love for
[Roland] (Song 39). Ganelon has long been jealous of Roland, and on his diplomatic
mission he finds an opportunity for revenge. Ganelon advises Marsile that the only
way to make Charlemagne leave Spain forever is to bring about Roland s death. Roland
is Charlemagne s right hand in warfare; without Roland, the Frankish king would
despair and could not hope to conquer Spain. In collusion with Marsile, Ganelon plots
his revenge: he will see to it that Roland is given command of the rear

Importantly, children diagnosed with SCD must also demonstrate functional limitations
as a result of poor pragmatic communication skills, which may pose barriers to social,
interpersonal and academic or occupational success. Also, the communication deficit
cannot be due to a deficit in structural language skills, or be attributable to another
medical or neurological condition. The DSM 5 notes frequent co occurrence of other
neurodevelopmental disorders. However, if a child s symptoms are better and more
completely explained by ASD, intellectual developmental disorder, global developmental
delay or another mental disorder, a diagnosis of SCD cannot be made. The notable
absence of restricted and repetitive behaviors is the important in appropriately diagnosing
a patient with SCD versus ASD.
