1. How can Hyflex Learning transform education in the 21st century? What are its
potential benefits and challenges?
2. In what ways does Hyflex Learning cater to diverse student needs and create an
inclusive learning environment? Can you provide specific examples of how it
accommodates various learning styles and preferences?
3. How can educators effectively leverage technology in Hyflex Learning to enrich
content delivery and enhance student engagement? What are some essential
digital tools, online resources, and multimedia elements that can be integrated
into lesson design?
4. How does active student engagement play a significant role in Hyflex Learning,

VI. Proceedings:

1. Mr. Eugene Aguilar facilitated the registration of the participants at 1:00-1:30


pm.
2. The Opening Program started at 1:30 pm with a prayer via video presentation.
The participants participated in a short energizer, and a short opening from Mrs.
Cristina A. Ballerta, Instructional Coach, followed. The LAC Facilitator presented
to the group Topic 1. Introduce Hyflex Learning in the 21st century and Topic 2:
Demonstrates the use of Hyflex Teaching Strategies

3. The first topic started at 1:30 am and ended at 2:45 pm.
4. A 15-minute water break followed the first topic was completed.
5. The second topic started at 3:00 pm and ended at 4:00 pm.
6. The LAC Leader discussed all the topics with Mr. Richard Raqueño, after which
an open forum and brainstorming.
7. Accomplishment of activities was executed from 1:00 – 4:30 pm and was
concluded by the LAC Leader.

VII. Minutes of the Meeting:

1. The Instructional Coach gave a short introduction to the objectives and rationale
of the LAC.
2. The LAC Leader started discussing Topics 1 and 2.
3. The LAC commenced by introducing the concept of Hyflex Learning, emphasizing
its potential to transform education in the 21st century. Participants shared
their initial thoughts and expectations for the discussion.
4. The importance of meeting diverse student needs was discussed extensively.
Hyflex Learning's flexibility in accommodating various learning styles and
preferences was recognized as a powerful approach to creating an inclusive
learning environment.
5. Participants engaged in a productive conversation about leveraging technology in
Hyflex Learning. Integrating digital tools, online resources, and multimedia
elements in lesson design was highlighted as essential in enriching content
delivery and enhancing student engagement.
6. The significance of active student engagement in Hyflex Learning was
emphasized. Participants shared examples of collaborative activities,
discussions, and interactive assessments that promote critical thinking and
higher-order cognitive skills among students.
7. The role of educators as facilitators in a Hyflex Learning environment was
explored. The shift from a traditional teacher-centric approach to a more learner-
centered model was acknowledged to empower students to become self-directed
learners.
8. Participants openly discussed challenges related to implementing Hyflex
Learning effectively. Time management, technical support, and equitable access
to resources were identified as areas of concern. Solutions and best practices
were shared to address these challenges.
9. Different interventions and techniques were introduced to execute Hyflex
Learning teaching and learning. Participants demonstrated how to conduct a live
in-person class while engaging remote students through video conferencing.
Participants also showed how to create and deliver asynchronous learning
content, including pre-recorded lectures and interactive multimedia materials.
The participants also experienced implementing collaborative group activities in
both physical and virtual settings.

10. After sharing ideas, the members were asked to prepare a reflection about the
concluded LAC.
11. The LAC members were asked to prepare a reflection about the concluded LAC
to be forwarded to the LAC Documenter for consolidation.
12. The LAC concluded with participants expressing excitement about integrating
Hyflex Learning into their classrooms.

VIII. Adjournment

The LAC was adjourned with participants expressing their gratitude to Mrs. Marites
M. Cuniano for organizing this enlightening and productive discussion on
"Introducing Hyflex Learning in the 21st Century" and ‘Demonstrates the use of
Hyflex Teaching Strategies.” The participants looked forward to implementing Hyflex
Learning strategies in their teaching practices and enriching their students' learning
journey.
