Researching his numerous inventions, experiments, and entrepreneurial ventures requires sifting
through an extensive array of historical documents, biographies, and scholarly articles.

One must navigate the complexities of Edison's personal life, exploring how his upbringing and
experiences shaped his inventive spirit. Addressing controversies and criticisms surrounding his
methods and business practices adds another layer of complexity to the essay. Balancing admiration
for his groundbreaking work with a nuanced discussion of the less savory aspects of his career
requires a careful and thoughtful approach.

Furthermore, the challenge extends to presenting a fresh perspective on a well-documented subject.

Countless essays and articles have been written about Thomas Edison, making it essential to avoid

Organizing the essay coherently is also crucial. Structuring the content in a way that flows seamlessly,
from Edison's early life to his later inventions and impact on society, demands careful planning and
execution. Maintaining a balance between providing sufficient detail and avoiding overwhelming the
reader is an art in itself.

In conclusion, crafting an essay on Thomas Edison is a challenging task that requires extensive
research, a nuanced approach to his life and legacy, and the ability to present a fresh perspective on a
well-explored subject. However, overcoming these challenges can result in a compelling narrative that
sheds new light on the life of one of history's most influential inventors.

Coca Cola Rhetorical Analysis
Coming up with advertising ideas is not as easy as it might sound. Sometimes two or
more companies might come up with the same slogan causing a conflict between them.
That s the case between the Coca Cola Company and the Grove Press Incorporation.
Both used the slogan It s the Real Thing to describe their products and the Coca Cola
company was not in agreement with that. A company executive from the incorporation
and a worker from the company, Ira Herbert, addressed this issue through a letter. Mr.
Herbert, used a demanding tone, repetition, and pathos in order to get the Grove Press
incorporation to stop using the slogan. On the other hand, Mr. Seaver, the person from
the incorporation is the most persuasive due to the use of a serious direct tone,
anecdotes, and sarcasm in order to explain to the Coca Cola company that they have the
right to use the slogan.
Herbert begins his argument by explaining to the Grove Press their inconvenience with
both of their products utilizing the slogan, It s the real thing . He explicitly illustrates to
Mr. Seaver how the Cola company feels towards the conflict and how they would
appreciate if they stopped using the slogan. In addition, Herbert wants to point out that
the advertising a company utilizes to describe their products is crucial towards the
credibility of a product. He uses pathos in order to persuade Seaver to realize that it
would be wrong if they used the slogan that the Cola company has been using for so
long. Please
The Effect Of A Reduced Quantity Of Light
Introduction In this study, the focus is on the effect of a reduced quantity of light being
the intensity of the light and quality of the light being the wavelengths that the
chloroplast isolate of Spinach beet (Beta vulgaris subsp. cicla) is exposed to, and whether
the results indicated have a connection to the effect of the difference in lights in forests,
and hence the effect on seedlings and plants underneath dense canopies and their ability
to photosynthesis, therefore their photosynthetic activity. Together with investigating
whether the intensity of the lightor the quality has a greater effect on the rate of
photosynthetic activity, was also the effect of varying densities of chloroplasts on the
rate of activity.

Current studies already taken place explore the fact that certain wavelengths of light are
more capable of fuelling photosynthesis (Halliwell B, 1984), demonstrating how certain
wavelengths such as blue and red sections of the visible light spectrum will be absorbed
by the photosynthetic organisms and then transferred along the electron transport chain,
while others portions of the visible light spectrum are not absorbed such as the green
section therefore, indicating why in dense forests with limiting direct light is available
green light is transmitted (Lee D, 1987, Endler J, 1993). To investigate the photosynthetic
affect of different light wavelengths and light intensities on Spinach Beet (Beta vulgaris
subsp. cicla) the flow of the electrons through the electron transport chain will be
observed through the absorption change of the chemical DCPIP, demonstrating the
colour and therefore the absorbance is proportional to the photosynthetic activity,
measured using a spectrophotometer.

Method
To prepare the live chloroplast, 4g of spinach leaf were grinded with 15 ml of ice cold
isolation median into a smooth paste, and filtered (finely as possibly), it was
centrifuged at 1300xg at 4°C for 5 minutes. The supernatant was decanted separating it
from the dark green layer. Again ice cold isolation medium was added to the tube
containing the dark green layer to have ~1ml of isolate, the
NASA Budget Essay
Every year NASA is given a large budget from the government. This budget is to pay
for all the different projects and different sectors inside of NASA. Over the many years
that NASA has been an organization the budget has gone up and down depending on
the economy. With the budget decreasing there has to be a decision what sectors must
be cut to stay on budget. One area that has been decreased significantly year after year
is the education sector. In 2016, they were given $115 million and the projected 2017
budget is only $100 million.1
The education sector focuses its work on students of all levels. NASA also creates
educational resources for different levels of educators. NASA believes, As the United
States begins the second century of flight, the Nation must maintain its commitment to
excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education to ensure that
the next generation of Americans can accept the full measure of their roles and
responsibilities in shaping the future. 2 This leading to NASA s creation of the STEM
system as well as many other opportunities for students all over the nation. ... Show more

With NASA being an organization that requires high skilled workers it is important
that they have people ready to fill in for the future. By decreasing the budget given to
the education sector as a whole it is only going to hurt NASA s chances of potentially
finding and molding great scientists of the future. Goddard one of NASA s space
centers, is at a crossroads in terms of employee turnover and retention: more than 50
percent of its scientific and engineering workforce currently is eligible for retirement. 3
Yet NASA is worried about projects and things that are currently going
Changes In The Russian Population
Throughout history the Russian population has been affected by various events. The
Russian population has been affected by various social and historical events. Many
contributing factors to the changes in the Russian population are due to wars, collapse of
government, and the standard of living for the Russian population. Other factors include
change in inhabitable locations popular culture, and the different fluctuations in life
expectancies of people due to medical issues such as HIV/AIDS. There is a gap of
about 13.5 years between males and females regarding life expectancy and it is
interesting to note that more females live longer than males in Russia.
One of the events that contributed to the changes to the Russian population was World
The Secret Of Happiness Is Relationship
The Secret Of Happiness Is Relationship
By Masami Sato
Jan 14, 2011
What is the reason for our remaining alive? For what have we come here? Day after
day we are being asked about the sense and purpose of our lives. And many of us keep
on searching for answers. Will we be able to achieve happiness? That is also a question
that forces us every day to find out its answer. What happens if the answer to those
queries is quite uncomplicated? What if it is all about ONE thing? Bonding. The secret
of happiness is explained perfectly in the stimulating voice of Masami Sato in the
excerpt of her book, ONE.

What are we trying to find out?

There are many things we do in our life.

However, have we ever wondered why we do what we do? What are we actually looking
for?

The world is a confluence of millions of people of all continents, races, religions, and
ideologies, doing different things. They look different and also act in different ways. All
of us have different interests and each have a different viewpoint. We converse differently
using different languages. We have different emotions and desires.

Still, if there could be ONE thing that we are ALL trying to get, what would that thing be?

While I journeyed all over the world, I asked people a seemingly straightforward
question, What would you like to achieve in your life? What do you really want?

At first, it seemed everyone was looking for different things as they randomly said,
Good job , My own house , A nice partner , A
Underage Drinking
Underage drinking is becoming more of a noticeable problem in society, not only with
high school students, but also with younger generations. Drinking is all over the
television, the radio, and talked about in schools, public places, etc. Alcohol
advertisements are more and more appealing to younger generations. If our youth is
educated at a younger age, if schoolpolicies were stricter, and if clubs and bars cracked
down on underage drinking the problem would not be as serious. Youth should be well
educated about consumption of alcohol well before middle school. By the time students
reach middle school they are already exposed to alcohol. D.A.R.E, the program that
teaches children about alcohol and its effects, should be taught in... Show more content on

15. This just shows that bartenders are not carding. Their reasons may differ, but it
seems as though females are easily passed off as legal drinking age regardless of what
their I.D. says. From my three years of personal experience in the club industry I
realized many young females received drinks from the bartenders despite their age.
Walking into clubs females usually don t even get carded as long as they are good
looking they get the wristband. Clubs and bars should have females at the front
greeting because that would eliminate underage drinking. Also, I.D scanners would
help because there would no way of getting in with a fake I.D. If clubs and bars were
stricter and had better tools to prevent underage drinking this problem would decrease
rapidly. In conclusion, underage drinking affects should be taught at a younger age
before the kids are exposed. Not only should they be educated earlier but the schools
policies should be stricter as well as college policies. If schools became stricter along
with clubs and bars the future of our youth would improve. These steps must be taken or
our younger generations will start to spiral without
The Authoritarian Leadership Of A Authoritarian Leader
His behavior resulted in his creating shallow relationships with his executive peers,
strong handing negotiations, and appearing arrogant. Had Jeff Shanley had a more
guided approach to his leadership style, he may have been able to curtail the behavior
and give Nick more of a purpose. As stands, the character of Nick himself held
authoritarian leadershiptraits influenced by poor interpersonal relationships with his
followers. This is expressed by Nick himself as he explains is has been a problem for
him since college, I can be sarcastic and rude at times, and sometimes I come across
sounding like I think I m smarter than everyone else (Lencioni, 2007.) Despite this, his
behavioralone is not enough to classify him as an authoritarian... Show more content on

By pursing the acquisition, Nick was expressing his need and individual thoughts for
company greatness unilaterally outside of the other executive member s thoughts and
considerations. When confronted by the group facilitator, Nick reverts back to his self
terminology saying, I think it s a good idea (Lencioni, 2007.) Schuh et al (2013) relate
authoritarian behavior to leadership strive to maintain the distance between leader and
followers. Referring back to the Hackman and Johnson (2015) authoritarian leadership,
Nick Farrell also strives to modify some of his fellow executive board members
behavior. In an intense conversation among the executive board about where the
company s priorities are dissected, Farrell called out Mikey for a lack of group minded
behavior. This particular instance was both, an example of his authoritarian attributes,
but also a turning point of growth for his leadership skills. Nick does react swiftly to his
companion in an attested way digressing
