Breaking Bad Analysis
Breaking Bad Log 1 Vince Gilligan s Breaking Bad is a TV series about Walter White,
a chemistry teacher, who starts cooking Methamphetamine to provide money for his
family. In an interview with The New York Times, creator Vince Gilligan said the
larger lesson of the series is that actions have consequences . He elaborated on the
show s philosophy: If religion is a reaction of man, and nothing more, it seems to me
that it represents a human desire for wrongdoers to be punished. I hate the idea of Idi
Amin living in Saudi Arabia for the last 25 years of his life. That galls me to no end. I
feel some sort of need for biblical atonement, or justice, or something. I like to believe
there is some comeuppance, that karma kicks in at some... Show more content on

Douthat went on to say that Walter White and Tony Soprano represent mirror image
takes on the problem of evil, damnation and free will . Walter as a man who
deliberately abandons the light for the darkness while Tony is someone born and
raised in darkness who turns down opportunity after opportunity to claw his way
upward to the light. [31] Gilligan intimated he would inject undertones of black
comedy into the fifth season.[32] [edit]Pink teddy bear The pink teddy bear as seen

damaged teddy bear and its missing eye. The teddy bear first appears at the end of the

be spotted on the mural on Jane s bedroom wall during the final episode of the second

This shelter is composed of many individuals with many traits, skills, and fundamental
qualities that will aid in the survival and development of our society in the coming
years after the Nuclear war. For the moment, our I cannot give too many details of my

you my philosophies. I believe that a society needs order, it needs discipline,
commitment and most importantly good people with a good heart. I believe every
resident of this shelter has those qualities within them. I have six main goals for us:
survive, educate, clean up, rebuild/restructure, repopulate and re unite. Our shelter
has all the proper defenses and shields to prevent any harm to us from the chaos and
radiation that will transpiring outside of these walls. Our walls are 15 ft. thick of
many layers of protection. We have our very own water supply, food supply both

young ones. While we wait for the radiation levels to minimize, everyone will be
educated for specific roles to better prepare our survival after leaving the shelter. Children
however, will receive proper basic education. Those that wish to continue in education

As a former assistant clinical director of a physical therapy clinic, one of my tasks was
to guide and motivate the staff on reaching our annual goals that was given to us by our
organization. One of our goals was to average 3.6 units per hour, which if treated a
patient for an hour, it will equal 4 units. Therefore, having a strategy to achieve this goal
was necessary. Strategic leadership relies on interdisciplinary knowledge and insights
about leadership and human experience and uses a variety of methods of empirical and
conceptual inquiry. Furthermore, strategic leadership uses systematic methods in
developing strategies, making decisions and taking action (Morrill, 2010, p. 108). The

According to Riggio (2011)
Leaders get into trouble when they engage in knee jerk responding or habitually use the
same strategy in different types of situations. Self regulation is controlling impulses and
learning how to analyze situations in order to think about the big picture and long term
results. Self regulation allows the leader to initiate the correct actions at the right time
and in the right situations.
Furthermore, leaders who operate in self control mode to pursue a goal are likely to
need less time to make a decision that is related to the goal (London, 2001).
What I have learned is learned is that I have self insight. I feel In order to understand
the needs and perspectives of followers, I need to understand my strengths and
weaknesses, which I do understand. A good leader needs to be aware of their typical
behavior and how they are perceived by others (Avolio, 2005). For this reason, I look
for feedback from my manager and coworkers on my communication skills with our
customers and coworkers. Additionally, as I mentioned earlier, I have already signed up
for classes to help become a better
