What Are The Similarities Between Killing Kennedy
In the book Killing Kennedy it says that Lincoln and Kennedy had many similarities,
and they do. There are many similarities between John Fitzgerald Kennedy and
Abraham Lincoln. These similarities can range from a simple year to in depth details.
Details like Booth and Oswald were both killed before being brought to trial. Most of
the similarities are fact except a few like, Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy and
Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln. Only Kennedy s secretary was named
Lincoln, there is no record of a Kennedy. The elections and time in office were almost
exactly alike. They were both elected into congress in 46 and elected as president in 60.
Both of their predecessors left office in the 70s and retired to... Show more content on

One similarity is that they were both shot in the head on Friday seated by their wives.
On those Friday s there were major holidays after. Both presidents were with another
couple at the time of their assassinations. The male of the other couple was injured
during the assassination. Both of the assassins committed the crime in the building that
they were employed. One of the most amazing facts is that Lincoln was shot at fords
theatre and Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln car made by ford. And Lincoln sat in box
number seven at the theatre and Kennedy was in car number seven in the motorcade.
Another one of the most amazing facts is the John Wilkes booth fled from a theatre and
was caught in a warehouse and lee Harvey Oswald fled from a warehouse and was
caught in a theatre. There were theories that booth and Oswald were part of a greater
conspiracy. Both of the assassins died in the same moth as their victims in the state next
to their state of birth. And the both of the assassins were sympathetic to another
government against the United States. Back to the presidents now, they both had body
guards that were named William. Whenever the presidents were shot they receive
medical attention right away, but there s also a similarities there too. Both of the doctors
were named Charles. Kennedy died in parkland hospital and Lincoln died in the pertersen

Bird Imagery In Jane Eyre Essay
Bird imagery seems subtle when reading the story of Jane Eyre as it is scattered
amongst the pages of the novel, but in reality it is prominent and a crucial element to
the plot. The stylistic device is usually present in times of intense emotion or when Jane
must face Passion and Reason, personified concepts that shape the way Jane matures, as
she must choose between the two in difficult situations. The imagery softens the
hardship the protagonists must face as well. Despite the joy she experienced at
Thornfield, Jane has decided it was best for her to leave. Rochester was not persuaded,
however, that this was the correct decision and begged her to stay. I could bend her with
my finger and thumb: and what good would that do if i bent,... Show more content on

It trembled for Mr. Rochester and his doom; it bemoaned him with bitter pity; it
demanded him with ceaseless longing; and, impotent as a bird with both wings
broken, is still quivered its shattered pinions in vain attempts to seek him. (p.373) Jane
feels broken in this instance and instead of gaining her freedom and ability to fly as an
independ bird, a piece of her has been torn away; the wings that kept her free, that
filled her with joy. Evoking birds in a time where Jane must decide between Passion
and Reason demonstrates the .... Jane, being the strong woman she is, may be trying
to conceal her emotions that she is too afraid to admit to feeling. Jane s decision to run
away from Thornfield appeared to be a bad one as she hadn t really thought about the
consequences of her actions. She then found herself left with nothing but the clothes
on her back. She was lost both physically and emotionally. She was taken in by Mr. E.
Rivers at the near point of her death, who described her as a half frozen bird (p.308)
since his first impression of her is that of a pale and sickly figure. Birds are present to
describe the state of a character and to demonstrate Mr. Rivers compassion towards
Jane, who we later learn is her relative. IV. Jane s personality, her bird type. And

The Day I Did My Duty
Most people would love a world where everyone is equal and no one has to feel pain.
This type of world would be ideal to live in, but what if I told you that a world like that is
not so perfect at all? If everyone is equal we would all be the same, there would be no
individuality. A world with no pain would also be a world with no happiness. Also, not
everyone is going to obey the rules, so there will always be a rebellious citizen. So, is a
perfect society really perfect at all? There will always be consequences to having a
perfect society such as no true feelings , no individuality, and a citizen will most likely
realize that the perfect society is possibly not so flawless at all. First of all, in a perfect
society the citizens never... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, the citizens in The Giver live under a strict set of rules that don t allow
them to be flexible and creative. Everyone has designated jobs, families,
transportation, and no one is allowed to make their own decisions. Also in the short
story, The Day I Did My Duty, all citizens were afraid to speak up against their
government in fear of being killed. They just followed the rules quietly without
voicing their opinions because of their fear. The last example of no individuality in a
perfect society is in the short story, Harrison Bergeron. Everyone is made to be
completely equal, so those who are smarter, prettier, or more athletic than others are
required to wear handicaps to ensure they are average and equal to others. The
intelligent have to wear earpieces that emit painful noises in their ear to keep them from
thinking. The beautiful wear ugly masks to hide their beauty. The athletic people wear
heavy weights to prevent them from being agile. Everyone is equal but those who are
not are physically and mentally tortured to insure they are equal. That type of society
has absolutely no individuality instead it has a lot of pains and suffering. Therefore this
is why no individuality in perfect societies are a
