    Faith over fear

    Introduction:

    Good evening, everyone. So for those who do not know me yet. I’m ate jen. I am assigned to share the
    message for the radicals. I’m so bless to see you here. So thank you.

    Before I share the message, let us pray first…

    So ang series or main topic natin for this is all about faith.

    I believe everyone here knows already the meaning of faith. When we say faith- hindi lang sya emotion-
    faith is a gift from God. Do you know what’s the opposite of faith? Anybody? It is fear. That’s why I entitle
    my message So entitle the message “FAITH OVER FEAR”

    So ano yung fear?

    Fear is a negative emotion- sab isa dictionary “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone
    or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat”

    (Ice breaker: so sino dto ang di pa nakakaranas ng takot itaas sa kamay, syempre wala diba because we
    are emotional being. Kristyano man o hindi nakakaranas po ng takot) so now kung tatanungin ko ngayon
    radicals.. ano ang mga bagay nagbibigay sa inyo ng takot? Do you think mapagtatagumpayan nyo sya? If
    yes? How? Papano mo sya mapagtatagumpayan? So this is what we are going to learn for tonight how
    are we going to overcome our fear

    How to overcome our fear?

    1. FAITH
    Hebrew 11:6

    And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him
    must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

    Pano tayo massustain yung pananampalataya natin?

    ➢ Fix your eyes on Jesus- Do not doubt


    -it takes courage to fix your eyes of Jesus.
    Story of Gideon
    -In the book of Judges, Gideon was called by God to rescue the Israelite but he had
    doubted.

    The LORD turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of
    Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”

    15
    “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the
    weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” (Judges 6:14-15)
    - Just like Gideon, there will always be moment in our life na magwwory ka, feeling
    di mo kakayanin but take heart for the Lord is with you. We can always trust God
    with our tomorrow or even future. I’m not saying na if we have that faith, hindi na
    tayo na makakaramdam ng takot. Yes makakaramdam parin tayo, hndi mo
    kelngang maging fearless, you just to have faith.

    The LORD answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the
    Midianites, leaving none alive.” (Judges 6:16)

    -Kasama mo si Lord in every step of the way as you fix your eyes on Jesus. Hindi
    tayo bibiguin ng Panginoon. God wats to showcase His power through kaya tayo
    may limitation. We cannot do anything apart from God.

    ➢ Cultivate a growing relationship with God through your devotion and prayer life
    -when we say growing – dapat increasing yung intimacy natin kay Lord.
    -Desire to grow with GOD by being consistent with your devotional and prayer life.
    Devotion (may guidance)
    Prayer (signifies your total dependency on God, that pleases God)

    Kung walang challenge, walang growth.

    -Keep in mind that challenge is part of the process for us to grow in faith.
    There is no growth in comfort zone.

    ➢ Declare what you want to see and surrender everything to God even when things
    seem hopeless.
    -Jesus is our living hope! Declare the promises of God.
    I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
    (Philippians 4:13)
    Joshua 29:11

    Proverbs 3:5–6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean
    not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge
    him, and he shall direct your paths.
    Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for
    good to them that love God, to them who are the called
    according to his purpose.

    Share short testimony.

    Conclusion:
    Sa lahat po ng nakapakinig ng word, I want you to know that
    your problems and limitations that causes you to fear are just
    part of the process for you to see how powerful and sovereign
    the Lord whom we are serving. Remember what the Lord has
    promised to you, sa pag aaral ba yan sabi ni Lord you’ll gonna
    excel and yet nagddoubt ka.Surrender it to God.. Know that
    God will not give you something or put you to a situation that
    you cannot bare. Hindi ka bbgyan ni Lord ng desire to achieve
    something na hindi magagawa. God will enable you. Sasabhin
    natin Lord hindi ko kaya, pero sabi ni Lord I will be with you, I
    will never leave nor forsake, My plan for you is to give you and
    a future…. Blablaaah

    God knows what He is doing. You just have to be still and


    have faith in the Lord no matter what happen.

    Can we stand on our feet and lets pray.
