T24.FIN.EXTRACT - User guide

1. Overview
This routine is designed for extracting the limit and tax information of the particular customer.
By this, we can avoid manual work involved in extracting various data.

2. Steps to be followed to implement the routine

1. FTP the attached routine T24.FIN.EXTRACT to a BP say TEST.BP


2. If the bank is in TAFC run-time environment, Compile and Catalog the routine as shown
below
>BASIC –I../T24_BP TEST.BP T24.FIN.EXTRACT
>CATALOG –I../T24_BP TEST.BP T24.FIN.EXTRACT

(or)

If the bank is in TAFJ run-time environment, save the routine in the path C:\Temenos\R13\
Env\Slot01\Products\TAFJ\Default\samples\basic and compile as shown below
>tCompile C:\Temenos\R13\Env\Slot01\Products\TAFJ\Default\samples\basic\T24.FIN.EXTRACT

3. Create a PGM.FILE record as below


4. Run the routine from T24 awaiting prompt.

3. Supporting screen prints to implement the routine

Step 1:

1. FTP the attached routine T24.FIN.EXTRACT to a BP say TEST.BP

2. If the bank is in TAFC, Compile and Catalog the routine as shown below
>BASIC –I../T24_BP TEST.BP T24.FIN.EXTRACT
>CATALOG –I../T24_BP TEST.BP T24.FIN.EXTRACT

If the bank is in TAFJ, Compile the routine as

>tCompile <<file-path>> <<file_name>>

Step 2:

Create a PGM.FILE record as below

Step 3:

Launch the application from command line.

Choose 1 to enter customer id or choose 4 to exit from the application.

Choose 1 to extract limit details or choose 2 to extract tax details.

Step 4:

On completion of execution, check the content of Log file path and note the records created with prefix
T24_BASIC_INFO.
