encompassing physical, mental, and social aspects. To create a meaningful and well-structured essay,
one must delve into various facets of health, such as lifestyle choices, healthcare systems, public
health challenges, and individual well-being.

Navigating through the plethora of information available requires not only research skills but also the

dynamic nature of the health landscape and staying updated with the latest developments in medical

The essay's success hinges on the writer's ability to present information coherently, engage the reader,

The Secrets Of Toxic Secrets
While essential secrets focus on creating boundaries and protecting others, toxic secrets
tend to do almost the complete opposite. Toxic secrets are usually kept from those that
have a right to know or should be informed of the secret. This, in turn, causes a lot of
disruption and tension in certain relationships. There are several different reasons why
people choose to keep toxic secretsfrom their familymembers, friends, coworkers, and
others in the outside world. Most of the time people feel as though the benefits of
keeping their toxic secret hidden from another will outweigh the costs of not doing so.
The reason for this is that most toxic secrets include sensitive topics ranging from donor
assistance and adoption to homosexuality.
Before delving into the different topics that exist in the world of toxic secrets, it is
important to understand the process that others go through when keeping a toxic
secret and deciding whether or not they should share that secret. Imber Black (2009)
explains that there are two types of people who keep toxic secrets. The first type
includes those who are powerless and keep secrets from those that are in power. They
do so in order to gain safety and power against those who already possess the power.
The second type includes those that are in power and may use toxic secrets against
those who are less fortunate or less powerful. They keep secrets in order to coerce or
continue to keep the power they possess.
Along with the types of people
Tay Sachs Disease Case Study
Tay Sachs disease is more common in Jewish people of Eastern European than in other
people. Near to one out of every 3,600 babies born to Ashkenazi Jewish couples suffer
from Tay Sachs disease. For the rest of population about one out of every 320,000 babies
born suffer from Tay Sachs disease. Nearly one in every 30 Ashkenazi Jewsis a carrier of
the gene that causes the disease. 1 in every 300 people who isn t of this background is a
carrier for Tay Sachs. Nearly 1 in every 27 members of the Ashkenazi Jewish population
are Tay Sachs gene carriers. (Desnick 2001a, para. 3)

The reason why Ashkenazi jews are more likely to have tay sachs disease is because
when world war 2 broke out the Nazis caused them to live in the ghettos. Later on, ...

Some are known and some are not, the known ones that cause defective versions of the

and some known ones cause some enzymes that don t work as efficiently and that

Most of the known HEXA mutations cause a version of beta hexosaminidase A that
doesn t work. These mutations cause the severe form of Tay Sachs disease, which appears
in infancy. Other mutations reduce but do not eliminate the activity of beta
hexosaminidase A; these genetic changes are responsible for the less severe forms of
Tay Sachs disease, which appear later in life. Molecular Location on chromosome 15:
base pairs 72,343,436 to 72,376,178 is where mutations occur. (U.S. National Library of
Medicine 2008, pp.1)

For future findings, figuring out a way to protect the chromosomes from mutation will
prevent this disease from harming anyone and could lead gates to curing other diseases
involving mutation.

Question 3: Make a model that shows the levels of GM2 Ganglioside found in the body
in the three different types of Tay Sachs compared to normal human body s that don t
have Tay sachs disease over periods of time .
Sociology Of Education As A Social Institution
Sociology of education
The sociology of education is a diverse and vibrant subfield that features theory and
research focused on how education as a social institution is affected by and affects other
social institutions and the social structure overall, and how various social forces shape
the policies, practices, and outcomes of schooling (www.thoughtco.com). Sociology of
education is the systematic study of educational system within the broader social
context. At the heart of sociology is a special point of view called the sociological
perspective of education. While education is typically viewed in most societies as a ...

What is the purpose of schooling?
7.Does education really change the society?
Educational sociology
Educational sociology determines the initial tendency of educators to view education
from a social point of view. It included a vast array of contents taught for the purpose of
teacher training and others interested in education. Educational sociology is by definition
a discipline which considers education within the purview of needs and values of society,
it starts with the premise that education is a social fact, a process and an institution,
having a social function and being determined socially. These kind of tendencies could be
found in earlier educationists like Plato, the father of the philosophy of education, who
had a deep insight into the social function of education, and most of the great
educationists, especially Comenius, Rousseau, Pestalozzi, Fichte and Dewey explored
the relations between education and society.
However, since Herbart established pedagogy as a systematic theory, the main trend of
educational theory for a long time has been individualistic, in that it took the completion
of an individual being as the aim of education, with teaching seen as a deliberate and
planned process of formal instruction. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, in
opposition to this individualistic theory, a pedagogy emerged which held that the nature
of education should be considered from a
Crucible Colonial Period
The Crucible (Colonial Period) The Crucible (Colonial Period) is a historic and
amusing film that made me realize how history took place back then. It was amusing
yet very educating to give me an idea of the era they were living in. While watching the
movie, I made a clear connection that allowed me to compare and contrast myself to one
of the characters. Including the fact that I learned different things that helped me
comprehend and understand the 1500 s 1760 s time period as well as the characters and
their roles in society. Starting off, John Proctor is one of the main characters portrayed in
the film. He was dealing with many challenging obstacles that came his way which
brought out his true colors. At one point he had almost lost his strength when he was...

I had a very different view of John Proctor when I noticed a few of the many traits he
had throughout the film. One of biggest traits that Proctor has that I can relate to is the
religiousness. I connected to him almost instantly. I was born into a strong and
religious household. We are Catholic and go to church almost every Sunday, or as
much as we can when we are available. My family s life revolved around God and our
Catholic Church and I could not stress enough how much of a connection was made
between the character and I. During Proctor s hard times he would leave it in God s
hands and although it did not work out for him in the end he kept his belief and trust
in Him. I do the same when it come to situations in my life that I can not handle. His
strengths are also identical to mine which made it easier for me to connect with him
as a person. With all his faith in God, he was not afraid of doing or facing anything. He
knew what was right from wrong and he made many decisions based on this although
his decisions were not always right. I feel the relation because although life gets
difficult at times, I just pray and trust in God to handle all the situations in my life. I
look up to Him to lead
The Navy Base At Pearl Harbor
In everyone s life at some point in time, they must have been deceived or cheated by
loved ones and or enemies. Yet what the eyes see are not always truthful and the ears
don t always hear reality. Thus being cautious and dubious of those who are around you
is advisable. Meaning it is clear that even seemingly trustworthy people can have malign
intent.
For example with the presence of the United States military in Hawaii, some political
effects was the overthrow of the monarchy, the naval base at pearl harbor, martial law
and the proclamation of the United States army. With the overthrow of the monarchy it
would not have happened without the landing of the United States troops. Also the naval
base at pearl harbor which was set up by the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So looking at all this information basically none of it would have happened if Queen
Liliuokalani was not abdicated. Furthermore if the queen was more suspicious about the
United States and caught on to what they were trying to do early on she could have
made the wise decision to fight harder for Hawaii not becoming annexed. Nevertheless
the fact is that Queen Liliuokalani cared about her people and tradition yet she didn t
have enough experience nor common sense to see what was happening in plain site.
Showing us once again that you can t put all of your trust into someone else just because
they seem trustworthy .
The next example is the organic act which was a document created after the overthrow
that laid out the basic framework of the territorial government. It set rules for things like
citizenship and many regulations for voters. The political effects that came with this act
included congress opening up voting rights to Hawaiians, contracts being voided and
terminated if it was made after August 12,1898, new government structure, and Office
holders having their voting rights revoked if found that they were corrupted or took
bribes. To expand on those ideas, there were many restrictions for Hawaiians to be able
to vote so very little ended up voting. Also the number of Hawaiians voting decreased
after congress added even more restrictions to who met the requirements.
Is Psychology A Concept Or Theory Achieved Through Self...
Psychology is a concept or theory attained through self help book, self help mentors, talk
show and many more different useful methods. Many students enter this field of
psychology with some knowledge. In the fall and winter of 1975 students in an
introductory psychology class were given a test known as the Test of misconception
students were asked to listen to each statement and answer them by answering true or
false only, statements such as To change people s behaviors towards members of ethnic
minority groups we must first change their attitudes. (Vaughan) These practices use some
mental strategies to improve ones over all well being. These particular misconceptions
seem to have been effectively dispelled in this group of students. However 15 out of 23
items showed little change in either direction, despite the fact that most of them we dealt
with materials dealt in books (Vaughan)
Common sense is using good judgment; that is only acquired through life experiences.
The science of psychology used research and data to form theories. All three have the
same common goal, a person s well being; they are just different methods on how to get
there. In my analysis common misconceptions about Psychology is that there is a
definite answer, but when dealing with humans nothing is specific or well defined
because we are all emotional creatures. I believe this misconception exists because as
humans believe there has to be an answer for everything, sometimes things are the way
