The Nature Essay

Crafting an essay on the topic of "The Nature Essay" can present both challenges and opportunities
for exploration. While the subject matter is broad and encompasses a wide array of aspects related to
nature, this very expansiveness can make the task daunting. The challenge lies in the need to strike a
balance between depth and breadth, navigating through various facets of nature without losing focus
or becoming overly superficial.

One difficulty arises in capturing the essence of nature, as it is not merely a physical entity but also
an intricate tapestry of emotions, experiences, and perceptions. Expressing the profound connection
between nature and the human experience requires a delicate interplay of descriptive language,
metaphors, and introspection.

Additionally, the nature essay demands a nuanced approach to avoid clichés and superficial
observations. While appreciating the beauty of the natural world is integral, the essay should
transcend mere aesthetic admiration, delving into the ecological, philosophical, and even spiritual
dimensions of nature.

Research becomes a crucial element, as a comprehensive understanding of ecological systems,

environmental issues, and historical perspectives is essential. This not only adds depth to the essay
but also provides a solid foundation for constructing compelling arguments.

The challenge intensifies when attempting to infuse personal experiences and reflections into the
narrative. Striking the right balance between subjectivity and objectivity is crucial to maintaining the
credibility of the essay. Narrating personal encounters with nature requires a delicate touch, ensuring
that the narrative resonates universally while still retaining its individuality.

Despite these challenges, the process of writing a nature essay can be a rewarding journey of self-
discovery and connection with the natural world. It encourages a deep exploration of one's
relationship with the environment, fostering a heightened sense of awareness and appreciation.

In conclusion, the difficulty in writing an essay on "The Nature Essay" lies in navigating the vastness
of the subject, integrating personal experiences, and maintaining a balance between depth and
accessibility. However, the endeavor offers a unique opportunity for intellectual and emotional
exploration, making it a worthwhile and enriching endeavor.

Argon Research Paper
Argon was discovered in 1894 by Sir William Ramsay and Baron John William Strutt
Rayleigh. Argon s innicial name was Argos which means inactive in Greek. The symbol
for Argon is Ar and is located in family 18 and period 3. Family 18 is a group of Nobel
Gases which are nonmetals making that element nonreactive.. The Atomic Number of
Argonis 18. The Atomic Mass of Argon is 39.938. The melting point of Argon is 91.81
degrees K, 189.19 degrees C, 308.54 F. The boiling point of Argon is 185.7 degrees C
and 302.3 degrees F. The element classification for Argon is of course a nonmetal as I
had mentioned earlier because it is positioned in the second row below Neon(Ne) and
above Krypton (Kr). The density of Argon is suited to be 1.7824 g/l which is at the level
it will float.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The standard state is a gas at which the temperature would be 298 K and it grasps the
shape of air. Argon is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, and nontoxic gas since it is a noble
gas and a gas has all those qualities. Argon makes up about 1 percent or 0.934 percent
of the volume of the Earth s atmosphere and is the 3rd most created element in the
Earth s atmosphere. Argon has 3 energy levels as in which the first energy level
contains 2 electrons, the second energy level holds up to 8 electrons, and last but not
least the third level has 8 electrons, leading to Argon having 8 valence electrons as well.
Argon is used in electric light bulbs and in fluorescent tubes and in filling photo tubes,
glow tubes and so much more all of which produce some sort of light. Argon can be used
as an inert gas shield for cutting and as blanket for the production of titanium and other
reactive element and as a protective atmosphere for growing silicon and germanium
The Knowledge Of The Natural Sciences And History Based
On...
When the quote states, attempt to know the world , it is regarding the gain of
knowledge. This is because knowledge is the understanding of the physical world
surrounding us and beyond. Plato defined knowledge as justified, true belief, meaning
that for knowledge to be legitimate, it must be justified by sources such as reason,
empirical evidence or memory. Secondly, the term assumptions in the quote should also
be explored. According to the oxford dictionary, assumptions can be defined as
something that is accepted as true without proof . Therefore the quote is stating that our
knowledge of the world is based on a set of assumptions. The second part of the
assertion produces the knowledge issues of the inability of testing the knowledge. The
oxford dictionary defines tested as taking measurements to check the reliability of the
something. Therefore, a key question that comes from this quote is: To what extent are
all knowledge in the natural sciences and history based on assumptions and is it possible
to test it s reliability?

The first knowledge issue from this quote is that the knowledge gained from the physical
world is based on things that without proof. This knowledge issue can be interlinked with
the area of knowledge of natural sciences. The natural sciences study the rules that
govern the natural world by applying an empirical and scientific method to study of the
universe. It is considered on of the more objective area of knowledge due to the scientific
The Violent Crime Rate Of Highly Disadvantaged Black Areas
The violent crime rate in highly disadvantaged Black areas was 22 per 1,000 residents,
not much different from the 20 per 1,000 rate in similar white communities. There are
still many people who mistakenly believe there is something about the black
neighbourhoods that make them more violent and prone to crime(Krivo, L) . Krivo is a
co author of this study and associate professor of sociology at Ohio State University. The
research shows that neighbourhoods with the most crime tend to be those with the
highest rates of poverty and other types of disadvantage regardless of whether they are
predominantly black or white. In this study, overall rates of violence were nearly three
times as high in black neighbourhoods as in white... Show more content on

Along with poverty rates, the researchers also compared neighbourhoods on other
measures of disadvantage: levels of male joblessness, female headed families, and
professionals living in the community. They then calculated a disadvantage index that
combined all of these measures. Violent crime rates were lowest in those neighbourhoods
with low disadvantage, regardless of whether they were predominantly black or white.
Extremely disadvantaged neighbourhoods had violent crime rates that were 16.3 per
1000 higher than rates in low disadvantage neighbourhoods . (Patterson, R 1989.) The
results showed that extremely disadvantaged black neighbourhoods still had slightly
higher violent crime rates than did similar white neighbourhoods. One possible reason
may be that the black neighbourhoods in this study are still more disadvantaged than the
comparable white neighbourhoods . (Patterson, R 1989.) In addition, the highly
disadvantaged black neighbourhoods were more likely than the white neighbourhoods to
be grouped together, which may intensify the negative effects. The researchers also
looked at property crimes in the study. The results were similar in that extremely
disadvantaged neighbourhoods both white and black had comparable rates of crime.
However, in the case of property crimes, white neighbourhoods had slightly higher rates
than did black communities. This may be because residents in the black neighbourhoods
William Shakespeare s Hamlet
While some authors use direct methods to highlight some of their characters qualities,
others use more indirect forms of characterization. One way authors can do so is by
setting up a storyline involving one or more foil characters. A foil character is one who
contrasts the main character so greatly that his/her actions point out opposite qualities in
the main character. William Shakespeare uses foil characters in his drama, Hamlet. He
portrays Hamlet as a vengeful prince who cannot act on his own thoughts and desires.
Hamlet s inability to act becomes more prominent to readers when Shakespeare
introduces Laertes and Fortinbras into the play. Both Laertes and Fortinbras persistent
attempts at revenge succeed in foiling Hamlet s indecisiveness and inability to act.
Hamlet initially fools readers into thinking he is murderous and ready to take action
after he vows to avenge his father s death; however, time passes, and Hamlet takes
minimal steps in executing his plan to assassinate his uncle. Instead of going
immediately to murder, Hamlet stalls by creating a play which reenacts his father s
death. He does so in order to see Claudius reaction so that he can ensure that it is not a
damnèd ghost that [he has] seen, and that Claudius is, indeed, guilty (Act III, Scene ii,
Line 87). If he is truly out to get revenge, Hamlet should not need any further reassurance
over the ghost s word, yet he gets some, anyways. After his uncle watches the play and
then flees from the
Remember The Titans Directed By Boaz Yakin
The movie Remember the Titans directed by Boaz Yakin is based on the racial and
social tensions of the South. Alexandria, Virginia. This community was torn apart by
racial conflicts, when it was ordered to combine their public schools. Cautiously, the
school board replaces the popular white coach, Bill Yoast (Will Patton), with Herman
Boone (Denzel Washington), a creditable black coach, as head coach of the T.C
Williams Titans Football team. Boone, after the coaching switch up, invites Yoast to
come back and join the team while being the new coach of the defensive line. Yoast
accepts and together they inspire, not just a team, but the whole town to stop and trust
the soul of a man rather than the look of him . This paper will cover a critical time in
American history, when a 1971 Supreme Court mandate required southern school
districts to finally end segregation. The drive to put white and African American
children in the same educational classrooms was the most vital and potentially
pervasive aspect of the civil right movement. Based on actual events that happened
during that time, the movie Remember the Titans shows it s audience how to deal with
the issue of racism and illustrates how one can overcome prejudice by uniting for a
common cause or goal. This movie and essay will not only provide an impacting lesson
of racism, but will also teach and provide examples of trust, loyalty, unity, and integrity.

Toxicology Review Paper

Due to the rapid economic development in three megacities in China, there has been a
significant increase in the amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) in both
the gaseous form and in the form of particulate matter( PM2.5 and PM10). On account of
the rise of concentrations of PAHs in the air, the amount of both seasonal and annual
pollution has increased well above the standard and national averages. Researchers
collected a number of samples from the three megacities including, Beijing, Tianjin,
Shijiazhuang, and a reference city, Datong. They also collected samples from four cities
that are well outside the perimeter of the megacities to adequately compare ... Show more

PAHs can be formed by incomplete combustion of carbon containing fuels such as wood,
coal, diesel, fat, tobacco, and incense(Zhang, Chen, Lv, 2016).This study is seeking to
determine the chemical constitution for major PAHs, observe and identify the different
seasonal variance in which there is the most pollution, and identify the source of the PAH
pollution in Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Tianjin that are believed to cause cancer,
mutations and birth defects. In order to answer the questions of this study multiple
resources were deployed and experiments carried out. First air samples were collected
from the following cities, Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, and the reference city, Datong.
Air samples were also taken from four cities, Nanling, Shennongjia, Pangquangou, and
Changbaishan, that were all background sites. The sample sizes are listed in the table
below.
These samples were collected at varies times of the year including, spring, summer,
fall, and winter over twenty three hours for five to seven days for the three megacities
and the reference city. Samples for the background sites were collected over thirty to
thirty six hours on two occasions. A particulate sampler was used for PM2.5 and PM10
sampling (Zhang et al., 2016). After samples were collected they were stored at four
degrees Celsius. Samples were then analyzed using certain
Toy Story Internal Conflict
a. The pixar film Toy Story presents an external conflict with our main characters
Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Buzz is the new toy in Andy s Room and starts getting too
much attention for Andy s favorite toy Woody s liking. Once Andy starts to favor
Buzz, Woody becomes jealous leading to his attempt to exterminate Buzz by pushing
him out the window. The rest of the movie is about Woody finding Buzz and bringing
them back home safely while learning to live with each other s differences. I believe
this story to be a representation of person versus person. The Hunger Games as in the
first novel by Suzanne Collins presents an external conflict against people through
Katniss Everdeen. She must survive the games by using people to her advantage and
killing the other kids in the games. She only pretends to be attracted to Peeta for the
sake of the audience s grace and will kill off multiple people as the games... Show more

Sabaa Tahir s book An Ember in the Ashes presents an internal conflict with our main
character Elias. Son of the tyrant called Commandment, Elias has trained all of his life
to be a ruthless soldier and more recently the new emperor of Serra. However, Elias
thinks differently than his peers and does not want to live out his days as a human
weapon, cutting down anyone who opposes him like his mother the Commandment.
This type of conflict can be specified as person verses himself. Splash is a movie about
a mermaid who struggles with an internal conflict against society. Madison shows up in
a world different from her own in pursuit of her long time love, Allan. However, Allan s
world is not very accepting towards Mermaids believing they are nothing but myths
except for one scientist who is onto her. Madison then has to accustom to human
traditions like eating with utensils, wearing clothes, speaking English and paying for
things all while trying to keep her secret from Allan and the scientist who wants to share
it with the public and his laboratory.
