Complete this lab as follows:

1. Create a starter GPO folder on CorpDC.


a. From Server Manager, select Tools > Group Policy Management.
b. Maximize the window for better viewing.
c. Expand Forest: CorpNet.local > Domains > CorpNet.local.
d. Select Starter GPOs.
e. From the right pane, select Create Starter GPOs Folder.
2. Create a starter GPO.
a. From the left pane, right-click Starter GPOs and select New.
b. In the Name field, use DNS Settings for the name of the starter GPO.
c. Select OK.
3. Configure the starter GPO policies.
a. Right-click DNS Settings and select Edit.
b. Under Computer Configuration, expand and select Administrative Templates > Network > DNS Client.
c. From the right pane, double-click the policy that you want to edit.
d. Select Enabled or Disabled for the setting (as is applicable).
e. Configure additional parameters as required.
f. Select OK.
g. Repeat steps 3c-3f for each policy.
h. Close the Group Policy Starter GPO Editor.
4. Create a GPO using a starter GPO.
a. From the left pane, expand Starter GPOs.
b. Right-click DNS Settings and select New GPO From Starter GPO.
c. Use the name CommonGPO for the new GPO.
d. Select OK.
5. Verify the CommonGPO policy settings.
a. From the left pane, select Group Policy Objects.
b. From the right pane, right-click CommonGPO and select Edit.
