Science Exhibition Proposal
Science Exhibition Proposal
Project Overview:
We propose to create and exhibit a scaled model of a battle bot for the upcoming science exhibition at our
school. This project aims to engage our school community in the exciting world of robotics and engineering
while promoting STEM education.
Project Description:
Our project will involve the design, construction, and presentation of a scaled battle bot model. The model will
emphasize essential engineering and robotics concepts, offering an interactive and educational experience for
exhibition attendees.
Project Objectives:
I am interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
Highlight creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Materials Required:
To construct the battle bot model, we will need the following materials:
Chassis: Lightweight and durable material for the bot's body.
Wheels: Suitable wheels for movement.
Motors: Motors for powering the wheels.
Sensors: Sensors for detecting obstacles or opponents.
Microcontroller: To control the bot's movements.
Batteries: To provide power to the motors and electronics.
Weapons System (optional): If permitted, components for a non-harmful weapon system.
Safety Gear: Safety equipment for the team during assembly and demonstration.
Procedure:
1. Design Phase: Define the specifications and goals of the battle bot model. Create a detailed design plan,
including the dimensions, layout, and components. Determine the materials needed and estimate the budget.
2. Material Procurement: Purchase the required materials and components based on the design plan. Ensure all
materials meet safety standards and guidelines.
3. Assembly: Assemble the chassis, wheels, motors, and sensors according to the design plan. Carefully connect
the microcontroller and power source. Test the basic functionality of the bot, including movement and sensor
response.
4. Programming: Develop the necessary code to control the bot's movements and responses to sensor inputs.
Fine-tune the program for optimal performance.
5. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing to identify and address any issues. Ensure the bot operates
safely and as intended.
6. Safety Measures: Implement safety measures, including protective gear for team members and audience.
Create an emergency response plan.
7. Presentation Materials: Prepare informative posters, diagrams, and educational materials to accompany the
exhibit.
8. Exhibition Setup: Set up the exhibit space, ensuring proper placement and safety precautions. Test the bot in
the exhibition environment.
9. Exhibition: Engage with attendees, explain the project, and provide demonstrations. Emphasize safety during
demonstrations. Answer questions and promote STEM education.
Conclusion:
We are excited to contribute to our school's science exhibition with an engaging and educational display of a
scaled battle bot model. We believe that our project will inspire our fellow students and provide an opportunity
to explore science and technology in a fun and interactive manner. Thank you for considering our proposal. We
look forward to your support and participation in the exhibition.
