IV. PROCEDURE
A. Reviewing previous lesson or Prayer

Ask the following questions:
1. Do you know a successful individuals who have
embraced their strengths?
2. What is the importance of self-awareness and its impact
on personal growth?

MOTIVATION
 The teacher will show a video clip of successful
individuals who have embraced their strengths and
limitations.
 The students will Share inspiring quotes about self-
acceptance and resilience.
Activity 1: My Strengths and Limitations

Materials: Pen and paper

Instructions:
1. Ask students to list down their perceived strengths and
limitations.
2. In pairs, have them discuss and compare their lists,
identifying similarities and differences.
3. Each pair will present their findings to the class.

Rubric:

Criteria: Completeness of the list 5, Depth of reflection 5

Points: 10

After performing the activity, the learners will be asked the


following questions:
 What are two strengths you have identified about
yourself?
 How can knowing your limitations help in personal
growth?

The learner will listen to the presentation of the teacher on the


objective of the lesson as well as the presentation of the topic.
 Identify the aspects of self-concept;
 Discuss ways to enhance strengths and manage
weaknesses; and
 Create a short story of your life.

SELF-CONCEPT
- Self-concept refers to your awareness of yourself.

- Is the self that you aspire to be
ACTUAL SELF
- Is the one that you actually see, that you nurtured or in
some cases born to have.
PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS
- Personal effectiveness means making use of all the
personal resources – talents, skills, energy and time, to
enable you to achieve life goals. Your knowledge of
yourself and how you manage yourself impacts directly
on your personal effectiveness.
Here are some skills that will greatly increase the efficiency of
any person who owns them:

Instructions:
1. Divide the class into groups of three.
2. Provide each group with a scenario card depicting a challenging
interpersonal situation.
3. Each group will act out the scenario, taking turns playing different
roles.
4. After each role play, the class will discuss the emotions and
perspectives of the characters.
