Job Essay

Crafting an essay on the topic of "Job" can be a challenging endeavor, as it requires a delicate
balance between personal reflection and broader insights into the professional landscape. The
difficulty lies in the need to navigate through a myriad of aspects, from personal experiences and
aspirations to the broader socio-economic factors that shape the job market.

To begin with, delving into one's own job-related experiences necessitates introspection and self-
awareness. Articulating the motivations behind career choices, the challenges faced, and the lessons
learned demands a thoughtful exploration of one's own professional journey. Balancing transparency
and professionalism in discussing setbacks or achievements adds another layer of complexity to the
writing process.

Simultaneously, the essay must transcend the personal sphere to offer a broader perspective on the
concept of a job itself. Analyzing current trends in the job market, the impact of technology, or socio-
economic factors influencing employment opportunities requires a meticulous examination of
relevant data and research. The ability to weave personal narratives seamlessly into a larger
contextual framework can be demanding.

Moreover, maintaining a cohesive and engaging narrative throughout the essay poses its own set of
challenges. Ensuring that the introduction captivates the reader, the body provides depth and insight,
and the conclusion leaves a lasting impression requires a nuanced approach to structuring the content.

In essence, writing a comprehensive essay on the topic of "Job" demands not only a command of
language but also a deep understanding of one's own experiences, the broader societal context, and
the ability to synthesize these elements into a coherent and compelling piece. It's a task that calls for
a balance of introspection, research, and eloquent expression.

Response To Nozick s Mental State Theory Of Wellbeig
Hedonism is a form of wellbeing theory about what is best in our interest and what is
good for us. According to hedonism, wellbeing relies solely on pleasure experienced.
Although there are some hedonist theories that values extrinsic pleasure, in this essay we
will be looking at hedonism that values pleasurefelt from inside, i.e., hedonismas a mental
state theory of wellbeing. This theory has met quite a numbers of objections. We will
focus on one such popular objection developed by Robert Nozick. Nozick challenged the
mental state theories of wellbeing with his thought experiment about an experience
machine. This objection is sought out as ultimate weapon to knockdown hedonism
(Weijers 2010, pp. 1). There has been attempts made to defend hedonism from this
objection. Few of these responses will be discussed to determine if they are able to
successfully overcome Nozick s objection. Pleasure and pain mentioned will
automatically refer to the intrinsic sensations, not physical activity nor as external... Show

Reality matter intrinsically to us because it acquaints us with experiences that makes us
feel pain and pleasure from inside. The experiences that Nozick s machine offers are
deceptions because the machine fools us into thinking that we are actually experiencing
pleasure. The illusion of being a great soccer player when you are not talented may be
good for you at the moment. But it is better to face the truth and pursue another interest
that you are talented at, for it would give you more pleasure in long run. Deception
ultimately result in pain. So, spending a lifetime plugged to the machine would give
more pain than pleasure. Therefore, people choose reality over experience machine
because reality could provide more pleasure than the experience machine. Nozick is
wrong for indicating that there are other things that matters more than
BUILDING A HOUSE Essay
Building A House

The process of building a house is a very complex and difficult task. In the following
paragraphs, I will be explaining the many different steps that are required to build a
house.
The first thing in building a house is selecting a lot and lot preparation. The land has to
be cleared of trees and brush and graded to ensure a level building area. This process is
usually called excavating and grading. This is usually a very fast process but can be
costly depending on the job.
Also the land has to perk which means the land is not too wet and is safe for a structure
and allows a septic tank to be installed that will function properly.
The next step is to have the land surveyed. When the land ... Show more content on

When the framing crew is finished, the framing has to be inspected and passed before the
next process can begin.
The next process is for the electricians and plumbers to begin. The electricians will
completely wire the house while the plumbers will only put in the first stage of pipes.
The reason for not completely plumbing is because the showers, sinks, and toilets are the
very last items to be installed.
After the wiring and preliminary plumbing are complete, insulation and installing the
windows on the house are done. Using a good insulation and good windows will help
reduce the heating and cooling costs of the homeowner. This is a step in building a house
that you should spare no expense. The insulation and windows will pay for themselves in
the long run.
Next, the builder will be hanging sheetrock. The sheetrock is the base interior wall
covering. After the sheetrock is hung, the painting or wallcovering can be done. Once
painting is completed, the carpet installation or other floor coverings can be installed.
This is self explanatory.
Inside trim will also be done during this phase. This includes various molding and
window casings and other items to be done to the specifications of the homeowner.
Then builders will move to the outside of the house. The boxing and siding crews will
start on the exterior of the house. Here you have to choose whether you want vinyl
siding or one of the many of the other kinds of siding on the market today. There
Analysis Of Jim Mccormick s Short Story Breaking Through...
The two stories Breaking through Uncertainty and Neighbours are both stories about
how big the benefits are when risks have been taken. The first short story is about how
a skydiver must overcome his own uncertainty, to save himself from certain death.
While the other story is still dramatic, just in a different tone; it s about a young
woman, who must decide whether or not a friendship is worth standing up for
something that s right. The protagonists in both stories, have to take risks, and they re
both rewarded for taking those risks; one with his life, and the other with a stronger
friendship. Even though the skydiver is risking his life, the protagonist in Neighbours
had more gut to do what she had to do, where is the skydiver just let second nature take
over. Above all, the protagonists both did experience serious risktaking moments, and
they both benefited for the greater good.

Breaking Through Uncertainty by Jim McCormick is about how a skydiver is

plummeting to his death, and he has got to figure out how to save himself. All the
while the skydiver must deal with his self doubt. In paragraph eight, we see actually
how much danger the skydiver is in I looked up to assess my canopy and saw
something I don t often see; the horizon clearly visible ABOVE the trailing edge of my
canopy. The skydiver obviously now knows what the stakes are if he messes up, which
make his self doubt start to kick in. He starts to worry he s not going to do it, the only

Atonement By Bret Lott s Struggle With His Children
Atonement Essay Atonement by Bret Lott is an essay based on a father struggling
with his children. Bret clashes with his children all morning long about dishes and
combing of the hair. The last straw was when Zeb didn t put his shoes on for karate
practice. Once Zeb got into the car Bret was anything but solicitous. Due to a morning
full of chaos, Bret was easy to snap at Zeb for a tiny disagreement. After sitting in
silence, Bret realized what he did was boorish. Before Zeb went in for karate practice,
Bret apologized for yelling. Jacob chimed in from the backseat asking for Wendy s.
That day Bret learned what atonement meant. Bret Lott was able to reach out and relate
to everyone including: children, parents, and society. Every child has been yelled at by
their parent or their guardian. Frequently, a child is guilty of misbehaving. Often, parents
are screaming for no apparent reason. Each child has felt the fear rise from their toes to
their brain worrying about what they could ve done. Once they figured out it s nothing
they have done, children get confused. They... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Parents come home from a long day at work tired and agitated. When agitation gets the
best of them, anything a child may do could possibly send them over the edge. A child
may be loquacious and that makes their parent/guardian upset. Instead of being
pragmatic towards the child, the parent takes all of the stress from work out on the
child. Even though the parent may not mean anything of the words being said, they
still affect the child. After the parent is able to calm down and realize yelling isn t the
answer, they talk to their child. Parents apologize for what they did and say they
overreacted. Sometimes a parent feels compunction for yelling at their child and will
bribe them with a toy or food to make them feel better. To conclude, each and every
parent is able to relate to yelling at their children when they don t deserve
