CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

infoKiosk Software
infoKiosk is a software that can use to disseminate news and information to the users, has a virtual map of
the schools that serves as a location finder, school login attendance feature with the use of QR-Code
technology, allows the student to view their grades with the use of their individually unique QR-Code;
About this Manual
This User manual acts as a reference for infoKiosk by describing its various concepts and abilities and
leading the user through the basics of the System. It also provides a detailed reference for all the
infoKiosk functionalities and features.

CHAPTER 2: STANDARD USER'S GUIDE


Engaging to the System
Once you tap the kiosk screen, the page will automatically direct to the landing page.
Note: Contents (images, names, etc.) may vary depending on the System.

Viewing the Landing Page


You can see other details on the landing page by swiping the screen/ scrolling down up to the
bottom of the landing page.

In News Section

Click the to display all the available news and announcements and their
details.

In-School Event Section

Click the to display the School's Event Calendar

In-School Gallery Section

This is where you can browse pictures/images. Swiping/ scrolling in case there is more
available Image.

Viewing the School Map


Click the button; this will direct you to the School Map feature. School

Map Interaction
 Tapping an icon in the map allows you to view its actual Image along
with its added details.
 Tapping the side buttons will also provide the same result as
tapping the actual icons.

Viewing the School Logs


1. Click the button. This will direct you to the school log feature.
doing this will automatically turn On the QR scanner

2. Hold the copy of a registered QR Code and place it in front of the camera. Make sure that it is
visible within the screen of the kiosk.
Note: QR Code that is not registered in the System will not work as intended

 The first scan will be classified as IN

Viewing the School Grades


1. Click the button. This will direct you to the Student Grades feature

2. Hold the copy of a registered QR Code and place it in front of the camera. Make sure that it is
visible within the screen of the kiosk.
Note: QR Code that is not registered in the System will not work as intended

Note: please make sure that your email will match your given email during enrollment.
3 Click the Send Email button.
Note: your password will be sent directly to your email.

Viewing the About


1. Click the button. This will direct you to the About Page.

 This page shows the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the School/ Organization.

Using the Feedback Form

1. Insert the respondent

3. Inset your feedback message
4. Click Submit button.
5. Checking the Anonymous check box will allow the respondents to be UNKNOWN.
Note: no one will know who sent the feedback message once the anonymous box
has been checked.

Viewing the View More


1. Click the View More button to drop down two added features.
o DepEd Leaders

Click the DepEd Leaders Button to view an Organizational Chart

o View Teachers

Click the View Teachers Button to View Who among the teachers/ faculty are
present at the school vicinity at a particular time.

Note: Teachers/ faculty can only monitor once they have used the System to sign in/sign out
using their QR-Code.

 Entering the infoKiosk System – Teachers UI (Users Interface)

This will direct you to the Teacher's- Dashboard.
 How to Upload Grade
1. On the sidebar, click the Upload grades.

2. Click the Upload icon

3. Click the "Attach Csv File Here" and locate the file you will upload.

4. After choosing the selected file, click the "OPEN button."

 How to Print Records


1. On the sidebar, click the Print Record.

2. Click the Print icon. This will direct you to the print preview!
3. Click print!
Note: make sure that peripheral for printing are appropriately installed/ connected and works
properly

 What is the usage of the My Student Tab?


This feature allows the Teacher to view his/ her students.

 What is the usage of the Student Grade tab?


This feature allows teachers to view the grades of their students.

 What is the usage of the Attendance Log tab?


This feature allows the teachers to view if their students are present at a
particular time within the school vicinity once they are signed using the system QR
feature.

Students can only use this System using their QR-Code provided by the school
authorities.

 How to VIEW FEEDBACK

o Click the arrow down to View

Note: notification count will change depending on available unread
feedbacks.

 How to ADD New Student via UPLOAD?


Click the Students List Button.

 Click this button to Upload students using CSV files.

o Click the "Attach Csv File Here" and locate the file you will upload.
o After choosing the selected file, click the "OPEN button."

Note. This process can only be done by using the CSV file provided by the System. see managing
student 1.0

 Click this button to Save Student using the CSV method.


Note: You have to check the check box designated to each row to save it.

 How to ADD, EDIT, and REMOVE/ DELETE EVENTS.

1. Click a specific date on the Calendar to include an event on that specific date.
Note: You can hold and drag through as
many dates needed for that event for
multiple date selection.

Note: The System can only support upload up to 70mb of video file size.
