    management, we will provide water at the tournament hall but
    requesting all the players to carry their bottles to avoid the usage of
    glasses. We request your generous support to protect our environment.

    AICF REGISTRATION

    All Indian players must be registered with AICF for the


    year 2024-25.All the players need to complete their
    AICF registration after 31st March 2024 and before 03rd
    April 2024 to participate in the event. AICF registration
    can be done at https://prs.aicf.in/players

    Foreign players must have FIDE ID before registration.


    TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

    Normal Entry fee : ₹ 4250 ( Four thousand two


    hundred fifty only ).

    Please note entry fee is valid till 25th MARCH 2024 .


    Thereafter late fee of ₹ 500 ( Five hundred only ) along
    with entry fee will be entertained after 25th March
    2024. LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION 5th April 2024.
    ENTRY FEE IS NON REFUNDABLE. 50% Discount for
    special abled players but need to submit certificate of
    minimum 50% disability .

    ELECTRONIC DEVICES
    All electronic items including all type of wrist watches are not
    allowed in the tournament hall.

    SYSTEM OF PLAY

    The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws


    of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 09 rounds

    TIME CONTROL

    90 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1.

    DEFAULT TIME ( WALKOVER TIME )

    The default time will be 30 minutes


    TIE BREAK

    Tie Break according to latest AICF guideline.

    In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect.


    The Cash prizes however will not be shared.

    PROTEST

    Protests, if any against the decision of the Chief


    Arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest fee Rs.
    2000 ( Two Thousand Only ) within 30 minutes of the
    occurrence of the incident to the appeals committee.
    The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is
    upheld.

    APPEALS COMMITTEE

    Five members appeals committee shall be formed. No


    member of the committee can vote on dispute in which a
    player from himself is involved and in such cases, the
    reserve can take his place in the committee.

    WITHDRAWL
    A player can withdraw at any stage of the event after informing
    Chief arbiter in writing.
