SNOTE Revamp Implementation Guide
Note 3051466 completely revamps the Note Assistant (SNOTE) with an aim of making it more
simplified, intuitive, customizable, and scalable, along with providing a new user experience.
This document will help you with the implementation of Note 3051466.
2. The below Notes keep Note Assistant up-to date with the latest fixes:
1668882 - Note Assistant: Important notes for SAP_BASIS 730,731,740,750,751,752,753,754,755
2869143 - Composite note for handling of Digitally Signed SAP Notes in Note Assistant (SNOTE
transaction).
Please ensure that these Notes are implemented in the latest version.
3. Note Assistant should be enabled for Transport Based Correction Instruction (TCI) imports and
rollback. Please refer to Note 2187425 – ‘Information about SAP Note Transport based
Correction Instructions (TCI)’ for additional details.
4. Note Assistant should be enabled for consumption of digitally signed SAP Notes. Please refer to
Note 2537133 – ‘FAQ - Digitally Signed SAP Notes’ for additional details.
2 The implementation of this Note may automatically also implement certain pre-requisite Notes.
Depending on your system’s SAP_BASIS release / support package, these below Notes may be
automatically implemented:
Additional pre-requisite Notes may also be implemented together with these Notes.
3 You may also be prompted to perform some manual activities as a pre-implementation activity.
These manual activities would belong to these pre-requisite Notes and it is important that these
are performed for a smooth enablement.
4 Once the Note 3051466 is completely implemented, please restart transaction SNOTE for the
changes to take effect.
