1.1 LongView IP and CL/RU Processing
(1) Equipment that supports the LongView cassettes and connection modes

This manual describes the system of the CL and RU in N:N connection.

Reader unit (RU) that supports the LongView cassettes and connection mode are described as
follows.
Also, reading performance of each RU is unique, and images may not be stitched smoothly if IPs
are read in different RUs, so we recommend reading them with one RU.

Refer to the Service Manual for details. Use the retainer for the safety of users and equipment.
*2: It is necessary to use the retainer for the cassette set unit of the FCR 5000 plus for strengthening.
*3: Do not use FCR5000plus, FCR5000Rplus, or FCR5000Maplus with the other RUs as the data format
sent to the other RU and CL is different from the other equipment.

(2) Preparing to Use the LongView IP

The CL has to be set for IIP Service Utility and User Utility beforehand. It is not necessary to
perform any settings on the RU.

The software for image stitching, Image Composition Keysoftware (114Y5342310A00), is an

option.

(3) Service of the LongView Cassette

Refer to the following Service Manual.
