    Cacti are good subjects to make with

    amigurumi technique

    To make this, I used n° 5 cotton and


    2mm hook.

    To make the two spherical plants I didn’t


    crochet in the round, but they are
    worked flat.

    The big spherical plant

    Round 1: 16 chains, turn

    Round 2: Skip 1° chain, 15 single crochet, 1 chain, turn

    Round 3 – 32: Skip 1° chain, 15 single crochet working in back loop, 1


    chain, turn

    • Turn over to the reverse side and sew the short ends together like I show
    you in the picture

    • With a needle and thread of the same color, pass through the mesh for the
    whole length of the circumference

    • Pull the thread from both sides and close with a knot

    • Turn to the right side and with a needle and thread of the same color, pass
    through the mesh for the whole length of the circumference and stuff. (In
    the pic I used a thread of different color to be more understandable)

    The big long plant

    To make the long plants we crochet in the round .

    Round 1: 6 sc in a magic circle (6)


    Round 2: 2 sc in each stich (12)
    Round 3: 1 sc, 2 sc in the next stich. *Repeat until the end of the round (18)
    Round 4 - 20: 1 sc in each stich (18)

    Flower

    Round 1: 5 sc in a magic circle


    Round 2: 1 hdc, 1 db, 1 hdc in the same stitch. 1 sl st, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc in
    the next stitch.
    Repeat until you have 5 petals
