cylinders, cones, prisms and pyramids. 3. Make development of surfaces, draw intersections of
surfaces. 4. Draw Engineering Curves, Orthographic and Isometric projections using AutoCAD.
10. Course Content: Introduction to engineering drawing, lettering, dimensioning, line types,
geometrical constructions, Engineering Curves – Part I (Conic sections), Projections of points, lines
and traces, Projections of planes, Projections of solids, Sections of solids, Development of surfaces,
Intersection of surfaces; Introduction to CAD, Engineering Curves – Part II, Orthographic
projections, Isometric projections.
