The curriculum that was discussed in the article actually sends a message in a form
of the maxim, We should teach them on how to catch a fish using their hands rather
than using a net. Which implies that teachers must teach the students on how to
enhance their cognition. They should let them to do things on their own instead of
spoiling them/ spoon-feed them with all the necessary information they need.
In essence, it implies that a curriculum should honor the past without becoming
constrained by it. Additionally, our educational system must be functional and
tailored to the current needs, rather than being decided by certain teachers, school
buildings, or districts. These curricular selections should be made by our society to
suit our needs.
The act of teaching someone a special skill or habit is implied by the term training,
which is frequently provided to operational- level staff. On the other hand, education
is the methodical process of learning something in a setting that gives employees a
sense of judgement and reasoning. Additionally, training is done in an effort to
develop a certain skill. Consequently, having this expertise will increase your
employability. While education is pursued with the intention of advancing your
personal knowledge and enhance your intellect.

Self Check
In order to facilitate easy learning for students and connect them to sources of
knowledge that enable them to explore concepts, it is necessary for teachers to
become knowledgeable about the school curriculum. A curriculum will always aid
the teacher in making better adjustments to the classroom setting/ school setting.
The teacher is without a doubt the most crucial in the process of implementing the
curriculum. Teachers are essential in any endeavour to construct a curriculum,
because of their knowledge, experiences, and competencies. As well as they are
most educated about the practice of teaching and incharge of introducing the
curriculum in the classroom.
