Once, there was a kingdom in Priangan Land. Lived a happy family. They were a
father in form of dog,his name is Tumang, a mother which was called is Dayang Sumbi,
and a child which was called Sangkuriang.
One day,Dayang Sumbi asked her son to go hunting with his lovely dog,Tumang.
After hunting all day, Sangkuriang began desperate and worried because he hunted no
deer. Then he thought to shot his own dog. Then he took the dog liver and carried home.
Soon Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer lever but Tumang’s, his own

The Story of the Smart Parrot
A man in Puerto Rico had a wonderful parrot. There was no other parrot like it.
It was very, very smart. This parrot would say any word-except one. He would not say
the name of the town where he was born. The name of the town was Catano.
The man tried to teach the parrot to say Catano. But the bird would not say the
word. At first the man was very nice, but then he got angry. “You are a stupid bird! Why

before into the hole. The limestone made the water inside the hole boiling . Kbo Iwo was
buried alive. Then the water in the well rose higher and higher until at last it overflowed
and formed Lake Batur. The mound of earth dug from the well by Kbo Iwo is known as
Mount Batur.
