Random Variable
X: the number of defective items
when three electronic components
are tested.
Example.
Suppose we have a biased coin such that P(H) = 1/4 and
P(T) = 3/4.
We toss it once. If it is H we win $1, and if it is T we lose $1.
Then, the amount we win is a random variable.
