Q – 8 Write any four functions of operating systems. 2
Ans.:
• It manages all the devices of a computer and keeps track of the status of the
device, whether it is busy or not.
• It also checks whether the device is functioning properly or not.
• It also controls software resources of the computer.
• It manages the computer memory and keeps track of which memory space
is in use by which program and which space is free.
• It manages the structure of the files and directories on a computer system.
• It keeps track of the amount of disk space used by a specific file.
• It allows you to create, copy, move and delete files.

i) Lawers iii) Architect
ii) Musicians iv) Event Host
Ans.:
i) Lawers: Linguistic Intelligence iii) Architect: Mathematical, Logical reasoning
ii) Musicians: Musical Intelligence iv) Event host: Linguistic Intelligence
Q – 13 How API is useful in data acquisition? Illustrate your answer with any
two examples of API. 2
Ans.: API stands for Application Programming Interface. API is a messenger
which takes requests and tells the system about requests and gives the
response. Example – Twitter API, Google Search API
Q – 14 How voice assistants work? Support your answer with goal of it. 2
Ans.: They use a complex combination of speech recognition, natural language
understanding, and natural language processing to understand what humans are
saying and then act on it. The long term goal of voice assistants is to become a
bridge between humans and the internet and provide all manner of services based
on just voice interaction. However, they are still a little far from that goal seeing
as Siri still can’t understand what you are saying sometimes!

Ans.:
The F1 score is also known as the F score or F measure of AI model’s test accuracy.
It is calculated from the precision and recall of the test. Here
1) The precision is the number of correctly recognized positive results divided by the
number of all positive results, including those not identified correctly.
2) The recall is the number of correctly identified positive results divided by the
number of all samples that should have been identified as positive.
3) The F1 score is defined as the harmonic mean of the test’s precision and recall.
The formula of F1 score is:
F1 Score=2 * (Precision * Recall) / (Precision + Recall)
Answer any 3 out of given 5 questions in 50-80 words each:
Q – 17 What do you mean by AI ethics? Explain AI bias and AI Access in details
with example. 4
AI Ethics: AI ethics is a set of values, principles, and techniques that employee
widely accepted standards of right and wrong to guide moral conduct in
the development and use of AI technology.
AI Bias: Bias means inclination or prejudice for or against one person or group,
especially in a way considered to be unfair. When AI programs, tool, and
algorithm exhibit any kind of bias, it is called AI bias.
AI Access: Since Artificial Intelligence is still a budding technology, not everyone
has the opportunity to access it. The people who can afford AI enabled
devices make the most of it while others who cannot are left behind.
Because of this, a gap has emerged between these two classes of people
and it gets widened with the rapid advancement of technology
Q – 18 How can AI be integrated with non-AI technologies? Explain with the
help of an example.
Ans: Earlier it was too difficult to determine AI or non-AI technologies. The
machine independence was deciding whether it was AI or non-AI
technology along with data. Machines with data and Smart non-AI
technological machine do not require training data, they work only on
algorithms and same level of efficiency which is programmed into the
machine. Hence they are not taking their own decision.
To integrate them with AI technology algorithm needs to be made in
such as way that trains the input and provides testing data. Some AI

in every iteration. They requires significant computing power and large
storage to process large data.

Q – 20 Observe the graphs carefully and classify them according to how well the
model’s output matches the data samples:
Explain in the context with all 3 figures and what is the further step is required
after the model evaluated thoroughly?
Ans.:
Figure 1: the model’s performance matches well with the true function which
states that the model has optimum accuracy and the model is called a perfect
fit.
Figure 2: The model’s output does not match the true function at all. Hence
the model is said to be underfitting and its accuracy is lower.
Figure 3: model performance is trying to cover all the data samples even if
they are out of alignment to the true function. This model is said to be
overfitting and this too has lower accuracy.
Once the model is evaluated thoroughly, then deployed in the form of an app
which people can use easily.
Q – 21 An AI model analysed data for share market ups and downs for 200
shares and predicts their result. The prediction are as follows:
i. Model predicted shares up and shares up are 50
ii. Model predicted shares up and shares down are 40
iii. Model predicted shares down and shares down are 80
iv. Model predicted shares down and shares up are 30
Create a confusion matrix using above information. Also calculate F1 Score.

By given the facts the total cases for various conditions are as follows:
1. True Positive: 50
2. True Negative:80
3. False Positive: 40
4. False Negative: 30
The confusion matrix for given situation is as follows:
Reality(T) Reality(F)
Prediction(T) 50 30
Prediction(F) 40 80
It is defined as the percentage of correct predictions out of all the
observations.
➔ Precision: (True Positive / All predicted positives) X 100%
