Rizal National High School Career Guidance Orientation


Title of Activity Theme: “Paggabay sa Karera: Unang Hakbang Tungo sa Matatag na Kinabukasan”
1. Career Orientation for Grade 12 Learners
Sub Activity 2. Strand Tracking Orientation for Grade 10 Learners

1. To explore and plan for future career endeavors based on their individual interests, skills and
values.
2. To orient students on the different career opportunities.
Objective/s
3. To give proper guidance on their vocation and the career that best suits them.
 Republic Act No. 11206 otherwise known as the Secondary Career Guidance and
Counseling Act of 2019 aims to: a) to institutionalize career guidance and counseling
Rationale program for students in all public and private secondary schools nationwide in order to
provide them with proper direction in pursuing subsequent tertiary education; (b) to equip
secondary education students with the capability to make educated career decisions and
expose them to relevant labor markets; and (c) to ensure that graduates of tertiary
education meet the requirements of the government, industry, and the economy.

Time 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM
Venue Rizal NHS Gymnasium

Target Participants/ Grade 10 & 12 Learners


Beneficiaries
Methodology 1. Consultative Meeting with grade level coordinators

1.1. There will be an over view of the plan.


1.2. The Team shall convene and plan the execution
1.3. Plan the necessary preparation such as creation of different committees and etc.
2. Strand Tracking for Grade 10 Learners

2.1 There shall be resource speakers (SHS teachers) to talk about the different strands.
2.2 This shall be an afternoon session the same day.
2.3 Each resource speaker shall be given 30 minutes to explain each strand.

3. Career Orientation for Grade 10 & 12 learners.

3.1 There shall be invited resource speakers from other agencies like ROMTTAC and PESO.
3.2 Each speaker shall be given 30 minutes to explain what each 4 exit tracks.
3.3 This shall be a morning session the same day.

4. Dress Me Up!

4.1 Students of Grades 10&12 shall wear costume of their dream career during the orientation
Resource Speakers Speakers will be from different schools and agencies:

1. Grade 10 & 12 Learners Career Orientation


a. Higher Education-
b. Employment- PESO
c. Middle Skills- ROMTTAC
d. Entrepreneur

2. Grade 10 Learners Strand Tracking


a. Rizal NHS Senior High teachers (ABM, GAS, TVL- Cookery and EPAS)
b. Invited SHS Teachers from other schools (STEM and Sports)
Venue, Chairs and table, Laptop, Camera, and etc.

1. Set Design (P1,000)
2. Snack and lunch for the resource speakers (4,000)
3. Token for resource speakers - (P2,000)
4. Garland for resource speakers-(P1,500)
