This presentation is intended for viewing as a MS PowerPoint

Downloads

Downloads (formerly called

Graphics Information) provides
links to files needed for
viewing SIS graphic images.

Review the Preferences settings after

downloading the DjVu graphic viewer.
SIS Web graphics can now be opened by the same
DjVu Plugin
viewer used by the stand-alone/network version of SIS.
A click of the DjVuPlugin_EN.exe link downloads this
plug-in; locate and run the saved file to install DjVu.
(PC administrative privilege may be required.)
Changes to Preferences

Image Display Preferences must be saved to take effect.

Once the DjVu graphic plug-in has

been installed, two preference
settings are available for the user:
In Line – allows immediate use of
the pan (click and drag the ‘hand’) and
magnifying glass (hold the Ctrl key
down and move the cursor) features.

Not In Line – requires viewing the

image before any DjVu plug-in
features are activated.

DjVu features are available when
an image is initially displayed. The
pan hand is available to click and
drag an image within the window and
the magnifying glass can be
activated by holding the Ctrl key
down when moving the cursor.
With Not in Line selected, the View
Image link must be opened to use
the pan and magnify features.
View Image Link

Click the View Image link to

redisplay the image and enable a
DjVu graphics toolbar and right-click
graphic menu.
If View Image is clicked without the
DjVu plug-in installed, no image will
be displayed. Use Previous screen to
return to graphic and consist. All
DjVu functionality is available. Click
>> to display additional functions.
Parts Id Image

To illustrate the DjVu graphic

viewer, a ‘Parts Identification’
document is open (9YF, 123-6884);
the DjVu viewer is installed and
Preferences are set to In Line.
Scroll Bars
As initially displayed,
images are often large
enough to identify parts
and their Ref numbers.
Scroll bars may be
available to assist
viewing all portions of
larger images. Smaller
images may display
one or no scroll bars.
Graphic Only

More of an image may be viewed

by selecting Graphic Only from
the Go To drop-down menu or
select Graphic Only within the
graphic. This will hide the consist
list.
Return Consist

The Graphic Only command enlarges

the window containing the image.
The parts consist list can be redisplayed
by clicking the gray highlighted link in
the navigation window, by selecting any
of the three Go To commands shown
