BNAC Overview
3
• After creating an external system (e.g. ERP) you can
additionally specify object types (Material Master, Retail
Code) that you can link the right on to the object e.g. Spare
Part in SAP BNAC.
•
4 Here you can specify the max. file size, documents prefix
(mandatory), User Level Authorization, Spare Parts
Obsolescence and requests
5
• If you deploy SAP UI5 Extensions on top of SAP BNAC you can manage these extension apps here.
2
•
1 Here you can manage / publish / group /
delete all equipment that are from your
company / shared with you. You have a list
and a map view. 1
2
2
• Filter and column is the same as with the
model.
3
• When creating a new equipment you can
choose a model or not. If defined – the model
suggests components including quantities. 3
•
4 You can choose different phases for the 4
equipment. Only for existing equipment a 4
serial number can be defined.
• If Equipments are assigned and values are filled you see the
6 results under the Data Sheet Section.
3
• Spare Parts, Documents, Service Instructions,
Announcements, Failure Modes, Improvements Request
will be explained under their respective app.
•
1 Under Monitoring you find the Indicators. The User can
define, model and instantiate indicators and their thresholds.
Current values of Indicators are provides by PDMS and by 1
integration with 3rd party (analytical) applications.
•
2 Notifications and Work Orders can be found
under Maintenance & Service and are
pushed into SAP BNAC by the connected 2
ERP System and can be viewed in the
network.
3
• The Notifications section table now also 2
displays a failure mode column.
3
• Under Timeline you find the Equipment
Timeline. This shows you all changes that
have been done to the equipment with
business partners and files. The timeline
can be filtered.
•
1 Spare Parts are objects that can be individually 1
maintained. They are on the same level like a model.
•
2 It depends on the type whether instructions, spare
parts are affected too.
•
1 Service Instructions shall describe how to execute a
service.
1
•
2 There are different types of Service Instructions.
Failure Modes can only be assigned to Breakdown
Instructions. 3
•
3 You can define the number of steps, duration,
criticality, safety rules, tools and assign required
spare parts. Additionally, frequency is now an
optional field for planned instructions.
4
•
4 Additionally you can define preconditions, the steps
themselves and post checks.
•
5 You can add different documents. If you added an 2
animated 3D file (.vds) the end user can view the
sequences.
5
•
1 Performance Improvements are objects to
collaborate with business partners. You find them 1
and a small report within the equipment under
Monitoring.
•
3 The Improvement request affects based on its kind
an equipment, a location or a model.
4
•
4 The requests can be rated, enriched with
information and submitted / reviewed by business 3
partners. This influences the improvement request
reporting.
•
1 You find documents within the equipment page
under the documentation category. You can filter
them according to the object, the category or the 1 3
phase.
2
• Within the central documents app you can upload /
download documents and also upload different 4
languages.
3
• When creating a new document you can choose
between a file or a link. Additionally you can 2 4
maintain language, category and phase.
4
• If you specify a document as confidential you are
not able to share it externally.
1
•
1 Documents that are pictures can be opened within
the documents app to create hotspots. Hot spots 3
can be simply drawn on the picture 2
2
• While creating a hot spot you can link all kinds of
objects to that object.
•
3 You can save a hot spotted picture as a SAP Fiori tile
in the cockpit for user individual visual navigation
(This could be an P&I Chart).
2
•
1 You can view locations within a map or list view
(behaves like the equipment / model list). Locations
can be spots, lines or areas.
•
2 Locations behave like other objects, you have the 1
same structure and e.g. completeness calculation,
data sheets, documents and failure modes.
•
3 The Installation Location can overwrite the
2
equipment installation location when the equipment
is installed within that location.
•
1 The personal dashboard gives you a 2
compressed overview about the SAP Asset 1
Intelligence Network. You could use it as an
alternative entrance.
2
• You have the Lookup App integrated on top. 3
•
3 You have all standard applications on top.
3
• You can personalize the dashboard by
• Bookmark equipment or other objects with the
star icon. 4
• Frequently view the most important objects.
• Get automatic Tasks (Announcements) displayed
by the system.
3
•
1 Requests are objects to ask for information.
They can be created for models and for 1
equipment, too.
2
• A model request is an object similar to a
performance improvement request. It includes
basic information, documents, affected
equipment and a timeline. Additionally it has a
status and visualizes the progress.
2
•
3 View Timeline for more details about
changes made to the equipment request.
