d. Remove nut from shaft and apply 6V1541 Quick Cure Primer on the threads of the shaft and nut
followed by application of 9S3263 Retaining Compound.
e. Loosen nut and tighten again to 9 ± 2 N·m (80 ± 18 lb in) plus an additional 60 ± 5 degrees.

Torque the bolts that hold the back plate ... 8.5 to 10.2 N·m (75 to 90 lb in)
NOTE: Put clean engine oil in the oil inlet of the turbocharger after assembly or before installation to
provide start up lubrication and/or storage protection.

NOTE: Put clean engine oil in the oil inlet of the turbocharger after assembly or before installation to
provide start up lubrication and/or storage protection.
