Aries Full Moon Circle — Friday 2nd October (2/10/20 7:05am)
This Aries Full Moon calls for a release of the misconception that there is anything wrong with you. To
say there is, is to say god, spirit, source is wrong too. This is a Full Moon that calls you towards a path of
greater understanding that you are both human and spirit. To start or continue to enjoy the ride of being
in physical form, when we see beyond the heaviness of our physical energy, we start to embrace how
fleeting and fun life truly is. This is not your first birth and it probably won’t be your last. So, remember
there is an eternal energy that lives and animates all that is around you, and in the form you have taken
you are being given the opportunity to become aware of it.

Aries is the sign of initiating and generating the fires of life through its ruler ship over the head. Aries
gives the courage and initiative needed to find the ~ I AM ~ within. Through the sign of spring, the
bursting forth of life into being is achieved as the impregnating processes of all nature come under its
primary domain.

On this night we will connect to the energy of the Aries Full Moon under the guidance of Marduk who is
the Sumerian God of justice, healing, agriculture and magic.

Marduk
Marduk was portrayed as the very King of Gods, whose fields of ‘expertise’ ranged from justice, healing
to agriculture and magic. Marduk was the son of Enki, and he was responsible for slaying Tiamat, the
primeval goddess who took a dragon form to challenge many of the younger gods (as an act of revenge,
instigated by the murder of her husband Apsû). Marduk also defeated the god Quingu (Tiamat’s new
consort) in single combat, while also decimating the enemy host of many monsters and ‘poison-filled’
serpents. These heroic acts propelled him to the forefront of the new order of gods – who, in turn,
unanimously proclaimed Marduk as their new king.

Emperor Tarot Card

The Babylonian Tarot - Key 4 - The Emperor - Marduk, displays the Patron god of Babylon. The name of
Marduk is said to mean, "Bull Calf of the Sun" or "Bull Calf of the Storm". Hence, he is also attributed
with the Tempest and Storm.

You are on top of things and everything in under your control. It is your hard work, discipline and self
control that have bought you this far. It means that you are in charge of your life now setting up your own
rules and boundaries.

Ancestor Fire Warrior Meditation
Start the meditation with slow deep breathing, concentrate on feeling the earth below you. Visualise the
support of the Earth underneath you, connecting you to the vast wisdom of Mother Nature. Feel her
energy enter your body as you inhale, and run up and down the spine as you exhale.

Take a moment and think about who you are and where you are in this moment. Remember that every
part of you has been woven together by the fabric of your ancestors, the good and the bad. Their blood,
their experiences, their pains, their joys all run through you and shape you.

Call upon the God Marduk to guide and protect you. Visualise you are being transported to a place in
between worlds, an ancient meeting place. This place is an ancient battle field and through the darkness
you begin to visualize your ancestors starting to form around you. They come with fiery torches from
many periods of time and cultures and form a circle around you. In the centre of this circle they build a
huge fire and you all dance a warrior dance around this fire.

All your ancestors had to stand in their own power at some time in their life. Allow your ancestors to now
tell you their stories to inspire you.

Marduk stands with your ancestors and around this circle of fire. You see the red light flickering on their
faces, you feel the heat on your body. You feel the heat in your solar plexus. Marduk asks you to absorb
the fire into your soul, so you can draw on its strength when you are faced with a hard situation. Take a
moment to feel that fire forming within you. As you take in the fire you feel stronger and more powerful
than you have ever felt before.

It is now time for you to return to to your realm and the ancestors to return to theirs. We thank all those
who have helped shape and create who we are now. We honour their wisdom.

Thank Marduk for guiding and protecting you and see yourself returning to your body. Wriggling your
fingers and toes.

Take a few moments after your meditation to gather your thoughts and emotions and when you are
ready open your eyes.

Affirmation for the full moon in Aries:

I am a conductor of heat and energy. I have the power to change my destiny.

Activity
Drumming through the chakras, starting with the earth star below our feet. We concentrate on bringing
through the fire of the Earth’s core through the power of the drum. Once the fire has cleansed each of
the chakras with the fire and drumming, we move the fire to our solar plexus to our core and then we
align our core with the earth’s core by seeing a cord from our solar plexus connecting to the Earth’s core.
We then can feel the power of the fire moving up the cord which we can use for healing of ourselves and
for magic.
