Differentiation between AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and ASI (Artificial
Superintelligence):
They can perform at or above human level in various intellectual tasks. AGI aims
to replicate human-like intelligence and problem-solving abilities, enabling
machines to exhibit a broad spectrum of cognitive capabilities.
The AI control problem, also known as the alignment problem, is the challenge of
ensuring that advanced AI systems act in ways that align with human values and
goals. It involves designing AI systems that are safe, reliable, and capable of making
decisions that are beneficial and ethical. The control problem arises from concerns
about AI systems acting in ways that are misaligned with human intentions,
potentially leading to unintended consequences or harm.
