The Executive General Management Programme is designed to


equip early career professionals having no formal management
education with key theoretical concepts, tools and techniques
needed to successfully meet the challenges of contemporary
business environment. The programme would provide a broad
overview of core business functions, with a specific focus in the
areas of sales, marketing and finance.
The courses in the programme are designed to impart knowledge
and skills to help the professionals understand and manage

This programme shall maintain the high standards of IIMC by:

These hours will be distributed across the following

Course Academic Orientation: November 26, 2023


Commencement Online Class Start: December 3, 2023

Campus Visit of three days will be conducted towards the end of the
programme during which face-to-face sessions will be conducted at
Campus IIM Calcutta campus.

IIM Calcutta will conduct examination and other evaluation


methods required for certification.

Successful completion of the Programme will require a


Certification participant to:
(a) An overall attendance of 66%
(b) Obtain no more than two "Poor" grades in the whole
Programme.
IIM Calcutta will award a certificate of successful completion to
participants who complete the Programme successfully.

Please Note:
• Participants with requisite attendance but with more than
two "Poor" grades will receive a certificate of participation.
• Failure to take an examination will result in the participant
getting an "incomplete" status and no certificate will be
awarded to the participant.
• In addition, a participant without requisite attendance (of at
least 66%) in every course will not be awarded any
certificate.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for the course:


• Last Educational Qualification- Graduation

Terms & Conditions:

General terms and conditions for enrolment in the above-mentioned course:

Employment Terms:
• Students have to stay in the company for 2 years from the date of course
commencement.
• In case of non-completion of 2 years of tenure in the company, full fees
(3,00,000 to 3,50,000) to be borne by the student, and repaid to the company in
full, immediately.

Academic Course Terms:


• In the event of failing the examinations, student will not be eligible to receive
their degree
• And 50% fees of the MBA course to be borne by the student, and repaid to the
company immediately.
FAQs:

1. What happens if I cannot complete the full two-year employment


commitment with the company?

If you leave the company before completing 2 years, you are responsible for
repaying the entire course fee immediately.

2. What if I fail some exams during the MBA program?

Failing exams may result in ineligibility for the degree and a requirement to
repay 50% of the course fees.
For details on eligibility criteria to pass & receive the degree, please refer to
Table 1- Program Description Sheet.

3. Can I choose specific choice of subjects/specialization?

No. The program syllabus and subjects will be fixed and cannot be changed.

4. Do I have to sit for an entrance exam to start the course?

No. You will be registered via HomeFirst Finance and hence will not require
any additional entrance exam or pre-requisites.
