Handout Derivative PowerRule

This document provides rules and examples for calculating derivatives of functions, including: 1) The power rule states that the derivative of y=ax^n is dy/dx=anx^(n-1). 2) Examples are given of evaluating derivatives at specific values using the power rule. 3) Additional rules are presented for sums, exponential forms, and composite functions. 4) More examples demonstrate evaluating derivatives and finding equations of tangent lines.
