Fees are payable by Demand Draft / Pay Order or by Cash. The Demand Draft / Pay Order to be drawn in favour of "The Dover Lane Music Conference", payable at Kolkata.

Rules & Regulations :
1. Please attach self-attested photo copy of age proof (Birth Certificate or Admit Card of Board Exam. or Passport). (Original testimonials should be shown at the time of submission of application along with two (2) passport or stamp sized colored photographs, to be affixed on the application form and the other on Admit Card)
2. Please note that in case of application form sent by post, the applicant must show the original age proof certificate at the time of reporting at the venue.

3. Participants who have secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in the past, will not be eligible to apply again in the same category.
4. Professional Artistes need not apply.
5. Candidates who have not learnt Jat-Addha Taal will not be allowed for Thumri category.
6. Candidates for Khayal and Thumri will be allowed to perform only with Electronic / Manual Tanpura and Tabla. No other instruments will be allowed.
7. Candidates can bring their own instruments for their performance.
8. The Dover Lane Music Conference will provide with a scale changer Harmonium for Bhajan & Ragpradhan contestants and manual /electronic Tanpura for Khayal and Thumri contestants.
9. Candidates can bring their own accompanists and instruments. However, a Tabla accompanist for Vocal stream {Khayal,Thumri, Bhajan, Ragpradhan} will be available at the venue.
10. Accompanying fees for Tabla (who does not have his/her own accompanist): 300/- for first/single item and 150/- for each additional item.
11. Rooms will be made available for change of dress, make-up etc. for Dance competition only. However, candidates are advised to get dressed at home to avoid last minute hurry and scurry.
12. Audio CD/ Pen Drive and Live music (cost to be borne by the candidate) are allowed for Dance competition.
13. Punctuality in attendance will be maintained strictly.
14. Approximate timing for performances are as follows (Timings are under judges' discretion. They have rights to shorten or extend the same) :
15. Combined decision of the judges is final. No appeal in this regard will be entertained.
16. Travelling or any other allowances will not be paid by the society.
17. Candidates have to specify their own residential address, Mobile phone numbers and valid e-mail ids.
18. Address, Mobile nos. & e- mail id of Guru / Tutor will not be entertained.

N.B. - A 2nd (second) Round of Contest may be conducted further for Vocal Streams (Khayal/Thumri/Bhajan/Ragpradhan) only on the basis of Judges’ discretion and the Date, Time & Venue for the same will be uploaded in our website (mentioned above) on 14-12-2023. If such notice does not appear in the website on the said date, the previous/initial round needs to be considered as final.
