B - Dark Raspberry (I love this yarn!)
C - Coffee (Red Heart super saver)

COMMENTS
· Work in continuous rounds, do not join rounds or turn your work, unless
instructed otherwise in the pattern.
· Mark the first stitch of each round.
· All stitches are worked in both loops, unless instructed otherwise in the pattern.

LEGS (MAKE 2)
Crochet hook 3.25 mm. Add stuffing as the work progresses, mr, ch 1.
Cut the yarn and fasten off, leaving a long thread for sewing onto the body.
SHOES (MAKE 2)
Crochet hook 3.25 mm, mr, ch 1.
1. Color B. 8 sc 8
2. 2 sc in each st around 16
3. In back loops only 16
Sc in each st around
4. Sc in each st around 16
5. Sc in each of next 5 sc, (sc2tog) rep 3 times, sc in each of 13

Crochet hook 3.25 mm, mr, ch 1.
1. Color C. 8 sc 8
2. Work 2 sc in each st around 16

11. (sc in each of next 6 sts, sc2tog ) rep 4 times 28
12-13. Sc in each st around 28
14. (sc in each of next 5 sts, sc2tog ) rep 4 times 24
15. Sc in each st around 24
16. (sc in each of next4 sts, sc2tog ) rep 4 times 20
17-18. Sc in each st around. Fill the body as the work progresses 20
and make sure it is stuffed quite heavily

Work 1 sl st in the first sc. Cut the yarn and fasten off.
PANTS
Color C. Crochet hook 3.50 mm. Make 2.
Ch 17 loosely. Close to form a ring with 1 sl st in the first ch. Work in continuous rounds.
1. Ch 1, sc in each ch around. 16
2-8. Sc in each st around. 16
Cut the yarn and fasten off. Make a 2nd identical leg, without cutting the
Yarn at the end.
Color C . Cut strand of 15” in length, and sew around the waist of the pant.

PONCHO
Crochet hook 4.00 mm.
Turn body upside down and work in the front loops only. Start in the front loop of the
last stitch of round 23 Dark Raspberry yarn, sl st, ch 1.

Shell Stitch
For the shell stitch, you have to work the specified number of stitches into the same
place.

Crochet hook 3.25 mm. Color A, mr, ch1.

4. (sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 10 times 40
5. Sc in each st around 40
6. (sc in each of next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 10 times 50

10-19. Sc in next st around 70
Break yarn and fasten off, leaving a long thread for sewing.
Find rows 11 and 12. Insert the first eye in the middle of these two rounds.
SCALP
Crochet hook 3.25mm.
With color F follow the same instructions as the head from 1st round to round 10. When
you finish round 10 work 1 sl st in first sc. Cut the yarn and fasten off.

EARS (MAKE 2)
Crochet hook 3.25 mm. Color A, mr, ch 1.
1. 5 sc 5
2. Ch 1, turn, sc in each st 5
Cut the yarn and fasten off, leaving a long thread for sewing.
Sew the scalp to the head ¾ parts approximately, and start to stuff the head firmly. It
needs to be stuffed quite heavily.
FRINGE
4’’ long.

COLLAR
Crochet hook 4.00 mm
Turn body upside down and work in the back loops only. Start in the back loop of the last
stitch of round 23 with dark raspberry yarn, sl st, ch 1.

Sew the head to the body.
ARMS (MAKE 2)
Do not stuff the arms. Crochet hook 3.25 mm. Bobble ( dc3tog) Color B, mr, ch 1.
1. 4 sc 4
2. Work 2 sc in each st around 8
3-4 Sc in each st around 8
5. Bobble , sc in each of next 7 st 8
6. Sc2tog, sc in each of next 4 st, sc2tog 6
7. Sc in each st around 6
8-25. Sc in each st around 6
Cut the yarn and fasten off, leaving a long thread for sewing.
Center the arms and use pins to hold them. Sew the 2 arms at the same time to the sides
of the body. You need to use your extra-long needles.

FLOWERS (MAKE 2)
Crochet hook 3.00 mm, mr, ch1.
Shell (4 ch, tr2tog, tr)

HAIR
I used color F for the hair. Cut strands of 20” in length, fold them in half and use the hook
to fix them to the head
Note: I don’t have pictures for the exact same hair that I used for Lydia; however, these
pictures show the exact same steps that I used.
You don’t need to add yarn for every strand of hair, add as much as you want.
