Responsibilities

Software Development Engineer: Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or
applications for software enhancements and new products
· Design and develop the best cloud software for businesses using ServiceNow platform.
· Work closely with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own
your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality
product to our users.
· Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product
managers and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
· Master new functional areas and take ownership of features that matter to our
customers.
· Design features with a core commitment to quality and an eye to how the products
will evolve in future releases.
· Ability to solve business problems - simple data structures, algorithms, and basic
array type problems like finding duplicates and etc.
· Proficiency in object oriented JavaScript
· Knowledge of ServiceNow Platform (optional - preferred)
Required Skills
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
· Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent
· 4+ years working experience in a comparable software development role
· Strong experience in Java, J2EE
· Strong experience in object-oriented JavaScript and JS libraries such as Angular/React
· The Resource should have a good understanding of working in server-side concepts
like interacting with database-access layer APIs, executing business logic and etc -
more or less like the NodeJS ecosystem.
· Good knowledge of AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST and associated frameworks
· Working experience on ServiceNow platform is a plus
· Exposure to DevOps culture is a plus
· Passion for software development and problem solving
· Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
· Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
· Strong written and verbal communication
