II. Session Details

Session Title: " Empathy for Environment: For the People, Of the People, and
By the People”

Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:


Objectives: a) understand empathy of every “Juan” for the environment;
b) grasp the significance of empathy towards environmental
conservation and restoration;
c) actively engaged in school and community-based activities
cognizant to environmental conservation and restoration.

Key Concepts:
● Empathy is the ability to comprehend and share the feelings of
others, forming a crucial aspect of human connection.
● Fostering positive relationships and social interactions requires
the ability to recognize and respond to a range of emotions and
situations with empathy.
● Empathy helps people understand and connect with one
another, regardless of their diversities, which is important in
the development of solid, enduring relationships.
Active participation in school and community-based activities
is essential for learners to internalize and apply empathy as a
critical social skill in their daily lives.
