INTRODUCTION

AI has many effects on people and the environment. It can have a positive
ecological effect or cause tremendous threat to our society. Through this new
invention, it is important to see what our future can behold and know AI’s capability.
As machines are growing and their intelligence and power is crossing what humans
could ever imagine, the major fear is that they can overpower humans at one point.
Though this sounds terrifying, there still are many great factors to AI such as human
convivence, medical innovations, environment sustainability, etc. This podcast has
shown how the future would perhaps be shaped through the power that AI brings
along with it.
TE FUTURE OF AI
As previously mentioned, AI can bring many possible outcomes; even human
dominance could occur. Although there is a chance of this, in order for that to occur
drastic changes are still mandatory. For instance, machine intelligence still needs to
develop more human and natural characteristics. For instance, the feeling of reacting,
understanding, and handling emotions is still very crucial. As a result, if technology
continues to develop at this speed, humans will have to question the difference
between a machine and human. In the future, if machine intelligence surpasses human
intelligence, then machines will be out of control.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
When it comes to what is artificial intelligence, many people have different
ways of describing it. Due to the mass development and revolutions of technology,
change has occurred massively. From the first computer that was the size of a whole
room to the multiple robots that can do human activities, technology has truly changed
the lives of people. As relating to the future of humanity, possibly humans’ lives can
be dependent on machines. There was research conducted on mice, where microchips
were inserted into the brains and then humans were able to teach them daily activities
such as sipping water. Similarly, it is predicted that at one point, humans’ lives can
turn out to be like this as well; were machines control human intelligence. Yes, how
ironic that is. Recently, all major companies (Google, IBM) and intelligent people
have been researching to find ways AI would make peoples’ lives easier. Although
this seems very innovative and good, the possible outcomes aren’t fully inspected.
This massive research is occurring though companies know what the negative effects
can be as well. As research continues, the possibilities of all results need to be further
looked upon.
ROBOTS
One of the most fascinating machines that humans invented was robots. A
machine that can talk or behave as a human was something that seemed unreal. The
main purpose of AI was to create a bond between humans and machines. Therefore,
they could work together and grow together. Vigorously, machines and robots have
replaced the jobs of humans. From careers to even vacuums, robots have been lives
more efficient and more importantly, easier. However, this seems great, like
mentioned before, if robots can out smarten humans, then they will become
dangerous.
CONCLUSION
Overall, this podcast has gave a vision of how the future might look like. From how
robots have helped in daily life to machines replacing humans in major innovative
ideas, machines have become a part of humans’ lives. No one is fully sure of what the
future would actually turn out to be. Ironically, many people are not sure what to think
about Artificial Intelligence. Is it good or bad? Though, it is important to know all
aspects of the reality and future this new power can bring.

Student Reflection
With continuous discoveries in nanotechnology, our constant thirst for knowledge and our
advancement in technological expertise, our relation to robots once they are more cognitively aware of
their environment will be different. We are entering an age where it will soon be difficult to differentiate
between the physical and the digital. The next few decades will undergo the biggest and fastest
transformations ever - in technology, science and interpersonal relations. We are living in a scientific
accelerator with irreversible consequences where our choices today will change the Imagine our planet
in the future. This series is a journey which connects the present with the past to show us how we can
influence the future.

The future of AI is a thrilling yet complex journey. AI is set to revolutionize our world,
making life more convenient and efficient in fields like healthcare, transportation, and
education. But it also raises concerns about privacy, bias, and job changes that need
careful management. We must use AI in an ethical and responsible way.

AI isn't about replacing humans; it's about collaboration. AI can help us in our jobs,
making tasks easier and more accurate. However, to adapt to this change, we need
to learn new skills and be ready for a shifting job landscape.

Global cooperation is essential to ensure AI's safe and fair use. Safety measures and
transparency are crucial in AI development.

Innovation is at the heart of AI's future. Research and development will drive
advancements, from quantum computing to enhanced natural language
understanding. As we move forward, it's crucial to be the architects of this AI-
powered world. Our choices and actions will shape the future, and the 10-second
glimpse we've had is just the beginning of this incredible story.
