RE: REQUEST FOR RETENTION AND EXTENSION OF SERVICE OF MR. DANTE M. OROZCO
AS SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL OF PLACER NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Sir:

Greetings of Peace and Good Health!

Placer National High School as an academic institution is committed in delivering quality

education that addresses the needs of the students in the 21st century. The school
envisions to hone the students holistically through varied learning strategies and
approaches.

We firmly believed that for an institution to achieve its vision and mission, a competent
leader is needed as an integral and fundamental facet in governing and leading its
constituents towards excellence.

The administration through the lead of Mr. Dante M. Orozco is doing its best to put into
practice the school’s mantra “We Work as ONE.” In fact, it is only under the leadership of Mr.
Dante M. Orozco we felt valued as teachers, it is only under his leadership we received school
supplies and other materials we can use in the delivery of our lessons, it is only under his
leadership we were informed about the school’s financial matter. In other words, Mr. Dante M.
Orozco is one of the best principals we had.

With this, we, the undersigned are humbly asking from your good office to retain and
extend the service of Mr. Dante M. Orozco as secondary school principal of Placer National
High School for the following reasons to wit:

1. TRANSPARENCY – Mr. Dante M. Orozco never failed to inform the teachers regarding financial
matter and all the expenditures that the school has purchased. In fact, he never failed to include
financial report every faculty meeting.

2. Because of his leadership, stakeholders and teachers were eager to support all the plans of
school, in fact, the SPTA with the help of parents was able to purchase a school multicab that
was very useful to students especially during contests and emergencies.

3. Because of his effort, we were able to generate funds with the help of teachers and
stakeholders for the reconstruction of our school’s covered court and stage that was wrecked by
Odette last 2021.

4. We were provided with ample school supplies such as bond paper, pens, folders, staplers, etc.
that never happened before.

5. We were provided with comfortable faculty office with aircon and WiFi that could help us in
our academic tasks. We were also provided with sufficient printers that is essential in making

learning materials. Every council also was provided with Water Dispenser and computer set. TVs
were also provided to some laboratories.

6. For the first time, We were involved in planning the Annual Improvement Plan.

7. Mr. Dante M. Orozco showed commendable leadership and competence in rendering

unrelenting service not only to us but also to our learners, parents, and stakeholders.

We are hoping for your favorable response in this humble request. Thank you and God bless.

By affixing my signature below, I am stating that I have read, understood, and agreed to what is
stated above. I also affirm the truthfulness of everything stated.

RE: RESPONSE TO SOME STIPULATIONS TO GEMAR M. JANDAYAN’S LETTER TO

SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL MR. DANTE M. OROZCO
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Sir:

Greetings of Peace and Good Health!

Placer National High School as an academic institution upholds the value of integrity,
camaraderie, unity and understanding amidst individual differences. However, conflicts,
misunderstandings and challenges within any workplace is inevitable. PNHS under the
leadership of Mr. Dante M. Orozco firmly believed that communication is pivotal facet in
resolving conflict within the institution to maintain a productive and harmonious
relationship that could not affect the performance of its constituents.

However, it saddened us to know that one of our colleagues, Ms. Gemar M. Jandayan,
has sent a letter to your good office dated January 08, 2024 against our Secondary
School Principal, Dante M. Orozco without trying to resolve the misunderstanding within
the institution. We believed that this is very unethical and against the core values of the
institution.

With this, we, the faculty officers of Placer National High School would like to condemn
some statements stipulated in the letter sent to your office by Ms. Gemar M. Jandayan.

1. the ‘demeriting rumors’ coming from different teachers as what is stipulated in

the letter has steamed even before the time of Mr. Dante M. Orozco and Ms. Gemar M.
Jandayan. It rooted from all the unanswered questions of some teachers as to financial
matter specifically to all the expenditures of our Maintenance and Other Operating
Expenses (MOOE) since the finance personnel was not able to present any financial
report in any faculty meeting we had

2. Mr. Orozco’s disapproval of purchasing original Epson ink is understandable; we

are aware that the usage of universal ink “may” affect the printers, however per
experience of majority, the cause of printer’s malfunction and damage was not caused by
using universal ink, it was caused by overusing it and even mishandling by the
owners/users. We understood also that the school has more priorities rather than
purchasing “original Epson ink.” These priorities are for the realization of school’s vision
and mission in providing safe and conducive learning and working environment for
everyone.

3. Alleged P15,000 as cash incentive for 2023 to be given to the teachers is truly a
misunderstanding. This statement was said by Mr. Dante M. Orozco to “some” teachers
in a form of a joke. However, a certain teacher mistakenly delivered the statement to
finance personnels and they took seriously.

On behalf of the faculty of Placer National High School under the leadership of Mr. Dante
M. Orozco would like to express our sincerest apology for the trouble and stress we
caused because of this misunderstanding that can be avoided if done and resolve first
within the institution.

Attached also is our request for retention and extension of service of our Secondary School
Principal – Mr. Dante M. Orozco.

Thank you and God Bless!
