1. Product Ratings:
2. Product Warnings:
2.1 Read instruction manual before use. Operation of this nozzle without understanding the manual and
receiving proper training can be dangerous and is a misuse of this equipment.
2.2 Nozzle must be mated to a hose line with matched threads. Mismatched or damaged threads may
cause nozzle to leak or uncouple from hose under pressure and could cause injury.
2.3 An inadequate supply of nozzle pressure and/or flow will cause an ineffective stream and can result in
injury, death or loss of property.
2.4 Failure to restrain nozzle reaction can cause firefighter injury from loss of footing and/or stream
protection. Nozzle reaction will vary as supply conditions change: such as opening or closing other
nozzles, hose line kinks, changes in pump settings, etc. Changes in spray pattern or flushing will also
affect nozzle reaction. The nozzle operator must always be positioned to restrain the nozzle reaction in
the event of those changes.
2.5 Injury from whipping can occur. If nozzle gets out of control or away from operator, retreat from
nozzle immediately. Do not attempt to regain control of nozzle while flowing water.
2.6 Fire streams are capable of injury and damage. Do not direct water stream to cause injury or damage
to persons or property.
2.7 There are a wide variety of foam concentrates. Each user is responsible for verifying that any foam
concentrate chosen to be used with this unit has been tested to assure that the foam obtained is
suitable for the purpose intended.
2.8 Use of compressed air foam (CAF) with hand held nozzles can cause sudden surges in nozzle reaction
force resulting in risk of injury or death from loss of footing or hose whipping.
3.1 Maximum nozzle operating pressure is 14 bar for 2365, 2366, 2366E, 2368 and 40 bar for 2360 and
2361.
3.2 Optimum flow is achieved at 85 PSI (6 bar) 600 kpa at the nozzle.
3.3 At pressures below 85 PSI (6 bar) the nozzle will deliver reduced flow and reach. Adequate flows and
pressure should be maintained for relevant fire conditions.
3.4 Always open and close shut-off valve slowly. Sudden opening or closing of shutoff valves can cause
water hammer and subsequent damage to hose or couplings.
3.5 Do not use the nozzle on electrical fires.
3.6 Do not over-tighten the nozzle when connecting to fitting.
3.7 Do not alter the nozzle in any manner.
3.8 For use with water and fire fighting foam only.
4. Installation Instructions:
4.1 Connect the nozzle to a hose line with the compatible threads. Mismatched or damaged threads may
cause nozzle to leak or uncouple under pressure and could cause injury.
4.2 Insert the hose coupling into the nozzle inlet swivel until it is completely adapted to against the gasket
at the end of the swivel.
4.3 Initiate the first pull of the retractable foam aspiration sleeve to loosen it for quick and easy extension
thereafter for 2366E.
4.4 Grip the handle steadily before pumping water in the nozzle.
5. Operating Instructions:
6. Maintenance Instructions:
6.1 Nozzles should be inspected before and after each use to ensure all parts are in a satisfactory working
condition.
