Republic Act No. 10743 entitled An Act Declaring the Fifth Day of October of
Legal Basis Every Year as the National Teachers’ Day otherwise known as the National
Teachers’ Day.
Source of Funds
Rationale The celebration of World Teachers’ Day started on October 5, 1994. Since
then, this has been celebrated annually across the globe.
Teachers Month celebration is one of the events that is annually celebrated in
the whole world particularly in the month of October. As the Supreme
Secondary Learner Government aims to give honor, appreciation, and tokens
to the teachers of Don Manuel Rivera MINHS. Through this program, the
students will show their love to their teachers as well as the teachers will
appreciate the love and effort of their students.
Objective a. Honor those who are in the teaching profession.
b. Acknowledge and give emphasis on the crucial role, loyal service,
and dedicated commitment of teachers in developing globally minded
citizens, nurturing families, strengthening communities and building
the nation.
c. To strengthen the camaraderie of everyone.
d. To have a celebration wherein the teachers will have a fruitful
memory.
Expected Outputs/ a. Strengthen the student- teacher relationship.

A. ACTIVITY
A. Mechanics:
a. Contest is open to all Don Manuel Rivera MINHS students.
b. Each participant must submit one entry only.
c. Participants must adhere to the given theme: Together4Teachers.
d. The entry should be original and not include any copyrighted material.
B. Criteria for Judging:
A. Mechanics:
a. Open for all Don Manuel Rivera MINHS students.
b. The topic must be related to the theme.
c. The language medium must be Filipino/English
d. Students should not use vulgar or foul words in their works.
e. Only one entry per student is allowed.
f. The duration of the performance must be at least 2 minutes but will not exceed 3 minutes.
g. Submission Period: September 12-October 3, 2023
h. Participants should submit the actual/hardcopy of their works to the SSLG officers on
September 30, 2023, before 12pm
i. Official entries will be uploaded on SSLG Facebook Page.
j. A special award will be given to the contest entry with the highest number of reactions
(like, heart, care, and wow) Voting shall end 24 hours after the entries have been posted.

A. Mechanics:
a. Contest is open to all Don Manuel Rivera MINHS students.
b. Each participant can submit only one entry.
c. Participants must adhere to the given theme: Together4Teachers.
d. The entry should be original and not include any copyrighted material.

C. Submission Guidelines
a. The poster must be created in ½ standard-size illustration board.
b. Participants can use any art medium such as paint’s, markers, or colored pencils.

a. Contest is open to all students of Don Manuel Rivera MINHS
b. Participants will feature show-off their favorite teachers via a Facebook post. Post must
have the photo of your chosen teacher and a message why you chose that teacher.
