ELLN ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT


I. Introduction
The foundation of learning is in a child's early language, literacy, and
numeracy skills. According to the Department of Education, those skills do not
develop naturally thus, it required careful planning and instruction. Early
Language, Literacy and Numeracy ( ELLN )Program of the Department of
Education which is designed in consistency with the K-12 curriculum. It aims
to develop literacy and numeracy skills and attitudes among Filipino children
which will contribute to lifelong learning.
This report provides an overview of our accomplishments, outlines the best
practices implemented, addresses key issues and concerns faced, and
presents strategic ways forward.

Accomplishments:

1. Curriculum Development and Implementation:


 ELLN created and executed innovative English language and
literacy programs that met the most recent requirements for
education
 Prepared support instructional materials suited to the learners
need.
2. Professional Development Initiatives:
 Attended seminars and workshop to gain more knowledge to
share with the learner.
 Conducted LAC Session to improve teaching and learning
process.
3. Assessment and Monitoring System:
 Conducted regular assessment to measure the improvement of
the learners.
4. Technology Integration:
 Uses digital technologies in teaching ELLN like television, youtube
etc.

5.Community Engagement and Partnerships:


 Conducted regular meetings to our stakeholders.

Issues and Concerns:

1. Diversity of Learners:
 Recognizing the diverse backgrounds and learning styles of
students, ELLN identified the need for ongoing support in
implementing differentiated and culturally responsive teaching
strategies.
2. Limited Resources:
 The challenge of limited resources, including funding and
materials, was acknowledged. ELLN is actively engaging in
advocacy efforts and exploring partnerships to address resource
gaps.
3. Professional Development Gaps:
 The advocacy of every teacher is to contribute much to the well
being of very learner related to ELLN.

4. Technology Integration Barriers:


 Technology integration is an important strategy used in ELLN to
provide more skills among every learner in the key stage 1 and
provide resources to the teachers.
5. Assessment and Measurement Difficulties:
 The network is committed to refining assessment tools and
providing ongoing training to educators to ensure the reliability
and effectiveness of the assessment and measurement system.

Ways Forward:

1. Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives:


 Diversity and inclusion initiate on program and policies that
organization implement to ensure all learners regardless their
gender, age, religion and disabilities. ELLN make sense that all
learners are valued and respected.
 It creates a work place for teachers equal opportunity to succeed
and where diverse practices are embraced, leading to greater
innovation and better decision making.

2. Resource Mobilization and Advocacy:
 It secures the necessary resources and funding of ELLN to
ensure the success of the program..

3. Professional Development Enhancement:


 ELLN focuses in the development of teachers through seminars,
workshop and training related to teaching and learning process.
4. Technology Access and Training:
 Partner agencies provides trainings and access to technology.
5. Continuous Assessment Improvement:
 ELLN required regular evaluation and provide tool to teachers for
its implementation.

In conclusion, the ELLN program is a great help to children who are in key
stage 1 to advance their knowledge in reading and numeracy skills. The
collaborative efforts of our teachers, administrators, policy makers and stake
holders this program will be successful and all children in the country will be
good readers and numeracy literate.
