Introduction
Life is a journey, a series of experiences and moments that shape who we are. Each step we take, each
decision we make, contributes to the path we follow.
It is a journey filled with ups and downs, challenges and triumphs, but ultimately, it is our own unique
journey. In this journey called life, we encounter various obstacles and face countless choices.
“Kalark”, “Clark”, and or “Poging Kalark” are just some of the names you used to call me. All these names
resemble the way I stand, talk, speak, and play with my elder brothers and cousins.
The way I walk, run, and play across the street are the major memories of how I spent my childhood in a
simple yet wonderful family with my parents and siblings.
A boy who had been turning into a man! A man of significant experiences. A man of wonderful
memories. A man who used to live in a very exciting yet thrilling life.
Body
Like anyone else’s life, mine was full of wonderful memories with my family, classmates, and friends. As I
grow up, I experienced many beautiful things as I felt the incomparable love and support of my parents.
My mother who always supported me in all the things I do. My mother who showered her love and care
in everything I want and wish for.
These beautiful memories with my mother were reinforced by the support and care given by my father.
He was the one who instilled in me the value of being strong and steady---the lesson of being ready to all
the challenges in life.
My beautiful memories could also be attributed to my wonderful brothers and siblings. They have been
my usual support system, my constant source of happiness and joy, of my strengths and inspirations.
All these support and love led me to realized and achieved better heights in life. I graduated from
elementary and completed Junior High School. I learned many things in school aside from the learnings
shared to me by my best teacher---who happened to be my mother.
Sayang nan ga lamang na nangyari ang ibang magagandang bagay sa buhay ko na wala na ang Mama at
Papa ko. They passed away too soon that I was not able to share with them all these best feelings, all my
achievements, all my joys and inspirations. I regret that all these happened and they were not there to
cheer me up.
But I believe that they were cheering for me up above there in heaven. I know how proud and happy
theye were of who I became----a strong and good boy!
Growing up, I have been inclined to Sports and other physical activities. These helped me become the
best version of myself. The discipline and the love I got from the sports made me realized how lucky I
was because I was surrounded with people who trusted and shown faith in me and what I could achieve.
I just wished that it all happened when my parents are still alive so that they could see how good I was in
the craft that I have chosen.
However, even though my parents were not there anymore, I promised that I would be the the best
version of “Kalark:” that they could have known. I promised that I would do everything to make them
really proud and happy with my choices and ambitions.
I have faced many challenges due to their passing away but it taught me more lessons in life. That most
of the times, I needed to stand on my own because no one could ever help me the most aside from
myself. No one could ever save me from the darkest times aside from my own self. No one could give me
the physical strength that I need aside from myself.
Conclusion
As I end this eulogy, I just have one message for myself. Should you had the chance to be still living now:
“Kalark, good job! You have lived your life meaningfully. You made yourself and family proud. You have
shown strength and love in all that you do and accomplish.”
“Kalark, good job! You never forgot to pray and ask help from God. Good job because you lived your life
to the fullest. You have chosen to experience life meaningfully and cheerfully. You have chosen to give
love and understanding to all your siblings, parents, classmates, and friends.”
“Poging Kalark, good job! Thank you for making everybody proud of yourself! You are not perfect but
your imperfections are perfectly imperfect! Thank you for sharing a life of joy, happiness, and love.”
