1. Motivation / Drill
a. The teacher will introduce the lesson objectives
b. The pupils will be asked to recite the multiplication table in numbers 3, 4,
and 5.
2. Presentation
a. The teacher will be introducing the topic which is the commutative
property of multiplication.
The commutative property is a math rule that says that the order
in which we multiply numbers does not change the product, or it is
when switching the order of the multiplicand and the multiplier
does not change the product.
For example, in the equation 7 x 3 = 3 x 7, both problems result to
21.
3. Discussion
a. The teacher will show the pupils a set of pictures of different fruits that the
pupils will be asked to count;
