The problems calculate various metrics like fundamental current, RMS current, crest factor, distortion factor, power factor, and total harmonic distortion. 2. Solutions involve determining the supply voltage and current waveforms based on converter type, load characteristics, and firing angles. Metrics are then calculated using the fundamental and harmonic components of current. 3. Distortion factor, total harmonic distortion, and power factor are important indicators of power quality, with lower values desired.
