Brake control circuit maintenance

Brake contactor K7/K71 is energized every time the
inverter starts. It is recommended that the brake
contactor K7/K71 and Relay / Thermistor board
D2V–NXOPTA3 is replaced every 500 000 starts.
When ESD141 is used also the timer block for
brake contactor should be replaced at the same
time.
The number of starts can be read through keypad
from variable V4.4.3 Start Counter. Start Counter is
shown in format 0.000 x 1k. For example 1.325 x
1k means 1.325 x 1000 = 1325 starts.

system.

• In this parameter group, you can:

- Check the status of the digital and analog inputs – outputs;
- See the status of the safety relay on the additional boards in the control unit;
- Check the number of starts brake contactor;
- Verify the values of the fault counter;
- Control the work of the profibas system;
- Check the correct setting of the SSU board;
- See the Motor operating parameters.

Active Faults and Fault History

• When an error occurs during operation of the inverter, it is reflected in the

active fault page, or if has been eliminated is recorded in the fault history.
• If any of the failures are found, the inverter displays the fault code and
closes the mechanical brake causing the movement to stop. If several
faults occur one after another, the latest one is displayed, the others are
stored to fault history page.
